Does the landmass shown in the upper section of this poster, resemble Eastern Asia to you?

Please explain your thoughts.
 
The regions are based on Japan, as you can see from the map thread at the top of the page.
 
Yeah, this would really be best discussed in the map thread (where I THINK there's a link to that picture...or that picture itself).
