Possibly but at the time of May's Bulbasaur Ash didn't have 6 Pokemon on his team. Since he does now it seems unlikely. Although it would be neat, and maybe for a slightly different plot than last time, maybe Ash's Cyndaquil could evolve.

I always wondered if Ash's Pokemon could evolve at Oak's lab while he's not there. Imagine Ash returning home after a long time and seeing some of his old Pokemon evolved when he wasn't there?
It would be pretty cool if Ash returned to Oak's and discovered he had a Quilava and Croconaw, and they evolved while doing some training or whatever.

It happened on Brock's Onix at his gym, so why not? I want Quilava, but I don't like to see an energetic filthy bigger monster :O A baby crocodile's enough.

- So now Nozomi's interested in Satoshi's badge quest?
- Why does Kissakki City look all European-like?
- Does Nozomi always have Nyaruma out of its ball like that? It's been so long since she's appeared that I've forgotten.
- So Nozomi calls Suzuna "senpai" ("upperclassman").
- And now Suzuna's fangirling Hikari.
- Apparently it's rare for people to come to Kissaki Gym for a challenge because of how cold and how inconvenient it is to get to.
- Takeshi talks about his family back home!
- Nozomi has four ribbons.
- Tiny kids!!
- And now the Platinum clothes are gone.
- And the Rocket-Dan are there for no real reason!
- lol at Digda sitting on a chair with the little clump of dirt still under it.
- So the guy in a suit is from the Poetch Company in Kotobuki City. And while I'm talking about this guy...it's kind of creepy that a grown man would take a class with little kids.
- Way to jump the gun there, Satoshi.
- It's only "difficult" because you don't wait for Suzuna to finish her question, Satoshi!
- Haha...Nyasu doesn't know the Nyasu-related question.
- Suzuna keeps calling Nozomi "Nozotchi."
- And, suddenly, we learn how Nozomi got her Nyaruma! So Nozomi found Nyaruma abandoned in a box in an alley one cold day. Her parents wouldn't let her keep it, saying she was too young to be a Pokemon Trainer. They told her to escort it to a Pokemon Center, but she decided to hide it in a shed and take care of it in secret as well. We also get a glimpse of Nozomi's Yamadera Kou'ichi-looking father.
- lol at Suzuna yelling at Hikari and Nozomi for being too buddy-buddy with each other while claiming to be rivals.
- So the smart Poketch guy has booksmarts but pretty much no battle experience, huh?
- Likin' the motto animation.
...and I got a phone call at the end of the episode and had to put the episode on mute.

I hope Zoey is in next ep too and we learn more about her... the Glameow thing is nice but I want to know about her more than just that

WIN. Nice to see the writers poking fun at themselves like that.
Pretty good episode. Dogasu hit all the good points. Nozomi backstory, Sattoshi jumping the gun at the Pikachu question, Nyasu not knowing a question about his species, and all the post quiz Rocket-Dan parts were awesome. They actually felt kinda evil there for a bit, and that was an awesome motto.
I'm also VERY glad Satoshi never battled Suzuna. It'll be nice to have Satoshi win against a gym leader he's never battled before. (I think it's pretty obviously he'll win next week.)

I didn't know the Platinum Clothes were going away that quickly, well I should have expected that. (I'm just guessing going by what you guys are seeing in the raw, since I don't know what's happening.)

Well, they apparently have them when they face off against Regigigas (if the recent clip show is any indication), so they'll probably only wear them when they're traveling in between towns or something.

This was an average episode, nothing special. Kind of dialogue heavy, so I'll wait for the subs to know what they really said. Suzuna is really cute, but she sorta resembled Tsutsuji/Roxanne. Suzuna seemed like a more laid-back version of Tsutsuji. Am I the only one here who doesn't hate Nozomi?
Rocket-dan motto was awesome, never seen a kotatsu in Pokémon before. And they were pretty badass when stealing the Poké balls.

Since I don't understand Japanese, did this ep explain why Zoey hated people who did Gyms and Contests, or was it ignored?

Yah that's what I was going to say, just looking at those images it looks just like that. That girl fangirling Dawn is fine but it looks creepy in the image LOL.
