FireRed: (Don't remember the specific team, but I do know I had a Charizard.)

Diamond: Empoleon, Staraptor, Blissey, Luxray, (don't remember last two)

Platinum: Piplup, Shinx (still early in game)

SoulSilver: Cyndaquil, (still early in game)

...I'll come back and fix all this when I start new games. xD I deleted the files from my old ones, so I have to start over.

If it's so hard to beat, then why could an Infernape (with rockslide and Earthquake) and a Luxray (with thunder fang and crunch) potentially sweep your team?

Teach mudkip ice beam once you get the tm in the abandoned ship.

Well considering I frequently restarted my games its kind of impossible to tell... but I do remember some of the more common:

Red
- Starter. Usually Charizard or Blastoise, occasionally all three.
- One bird. Usually Pidgeot. Fearow if I got mored of him.
- Raichu.
- Mewtwo
- The legendary birds. Usually replaces that one bird I had previously. Moltres was often left out too seeing as I prefer Charizard.
