Doctor Who has been going on for 50 years, some people have watched for all 50, some started watching in 2005, like me. So I have a question: What's your favorite episode, either from the revival series or the 26 year long classic series? Mine is the 2007 episode 'Blink'. Watch it and you'll see why.

I can't decide on one overall favourite, there are way too many. Out of all the episodes from the revived series, my favourites are:

-The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances
-The Parting of the Ways
-Tooth and Claw
-The Idiot Lantern
-The Impossible Planet/ The Satan Pit
-Human Nature/The Family of Blood
-Partners in Crime
-The Unicorn and the Wasp
-Turn Left/The Stolen Earth/Journey's End
-Vincent and the Doctor
-Asylum of the Daleks
-The Snowmen

I haven't watched much of the original series to decide on a favourite, but I probably will one day if I get around to it.

I'm gonna go with multiple episodes:

The Empty Child/ The Doctor Dances
the girl in the fireplace
Rise of the cybermen/ age of steel
the impossible planet/ satan's pit
gridlock
human nature/the family of blood
Blink
the sound of drums/last of the timelords
turn left/stolen earth/journey's end
the end of time/part II
a christmas carol
the rebel flesh/the almost people

Also while I couldn't put them among my favourites I'd also like to mention the long game, bad wolf/ the parting of ways, army of ghosts/doomsday, planet of the ood, the doctor's daughter, amy's choice, the lodger, the girl who waited, asylum of daleks, the angels take manhattan and the bells of st. john.

I'm going to have to go with a list of episodes as well:

New Earth
The Girl in the Fireplace
The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit
The Runaway Bride
Smith and Jones
Human Nature/The Family of Blood
Blink
Utopia/The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords
Partners in Crime
Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead
Midnight
Turn Left
The End of Time
The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang
The God Complex
Asylum of the Daleks
The Power of Three
The Angles take Manhattan
The Snowmen
The Bells of St. John

Oh dear. That's quite a list. heh

I've watched only six episodes so far and my favorites are Rose and Blink.

Even though I've said 'Blink', I have to say, 'The Five Doctors' and 'The Caves of Androzani' are rather good. Not because they last much longer than the revived episodes, but because they were written really well (Although it was shocking that the ol' teeth and curls man Tom Baker didn't return).

So many episodes to choose from, I'll go with the following:

Genesis of the Daleks
Dalek
The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances
Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways
School Reunion
The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit
Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks
Utopia/The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords
The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang
The Bells of Saint John

Having recently got the first few episodes from the BBC Archives, I have to say, An Unearthly Child is rather good, as is The Daleks. Marco Polo is a lost episode, reconstructed using photos and audio soundtracks. Even so, it ain't that good.
By the way, did anyone see this in the Big Bang?

The guy behind the second Egyptian coffin, some say that's the Silence, but where have I seen him before?

Dalek
The Girl in the Fireplace

The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit
Army of Ghosts/Doomsday
Blink

Least favorites:

Aliens of London/World War Three
Love & Monsters

Is there anything good I can say about Love and Monsters?
Marc Warren was good in it. That's it.

Season 7 been quite good. And despite what some may say Season 6 was good too all things considered.

Blink was really good
only the last 2 and 1st one this series have been any good really and overall this series has been terrible and as a fan i say that with a very heavy heart

Let's see...

Hartnell: The Gunfighters
Troughton: The Abominable Snowmen
Pertwee: The Green Death
T. Baker: Pyramids of Mars
Davison: The Caves of Androzani
C. Baker: Revelation of the Daleks
McCoy: The Happiness Patrol

The Stolen Earth and Journey's End. I am definitely looking forward to the 50th Anniversary episode.

I should mention to my fellow Aussies that ABC2 is repeating every episode from the revived series weeknights at 7:30pm. I wonder what gems will be in it that I have overlooked?

Christopher Eccleston: Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways
David Tennant: The Stolen Earth/Journey's End
Matt Smith: The Pandorica Opens
