This is an RP influenced by Dissidia: Final Fantasy.

For millenia, the world has been split asunder by war. The gods of harmony and discord have been fighting for the fate of the world. However, there can be no personal matters between them. Thus, they each assembled warriors from the vast reaches of the universe to fight for them. The side of harmony once dominated the war, but now is rapidly losing warriors. Now, both sides are down to 10 warriors. Each side hunts sacred crystals that control the balance of good and evil in the world.

Each warrior has a unique fighting style. They are as follows:

Warriors of Harmony:
Paragon: This fighting style is a fine balance of offense and defense. Its offense is primarily close to mid ranged, but has a handful of minor magical attacks. It also employs several combos, and the most powerful attacks hit at a variety of ranges. As a downside, this fighting style has few ranged attacks, is rather slow, and is not overly powerful compared to other melee fighting styles. Instead, this fighting style has the distinction of the greatest endurance by far.

Weapon Specialist: This fighting style concentrates on close-range combat, with several mid to long range options available for reeling distant and aerial opponents into close range. This fighting style is mostly offensive melee, though minor spells are available as well as the aforementioned ranged options. But if a Weapon Specialist is forced into the air, they will be hard-pressed to fight on an equal footing until they can get back on solid ground. Statistically, this fighting style is of average speed, but amazing melee prowess in comparison to most, but among the weakest in ranged situations.

Mystic Fencer: This fighting style uses melee and magical attacks in a balanced manner. It is also balanced both in the air and on the ground. Offensively, this fighting style is among the most versatile, but is predictable at the same time, as there are few attack options to choose from. Furthermore, most attacks have high cooldown, making them easy to punish if dodged.

Split Soul: This fighting style uses the opposing strengths of two different forms. One form is slow, and specializes in steady, powerful ground attacks, while the other is fast, and specializes in swift aerial combos with the drawback of weak strength and limited range. Attacks are primarily melee, supplemented with magic.

Mime: This fighting style copies moves from other warriors and combines weapons and fighting styles for a high degree of versatility. The drawbacks are middling speed and poor range on most attacks.

Magus: This fighting style is entirely magical, and attacks are equally powerful at any range. This fighting style is also versatile both on the ground and in the air. The drawbacks are extremely slow speed, and most attacks can be blocked, on account of being projectiles.

Brawler: This fighting style employs slow, powerful melee attacks to act as a 'travel agent' to enemies, sending them flying.The power is offset by slow ground movement and most attacks being slow and easy to dodge and counter.

Combo King: This fighting style specializes in swift, multi-hit combo attacks that do heavy damage. Most attacks execute quickly, but have low range. The drawbacks are magic attacks being only mid-ranged, thus making long-ranged combat impossible, and finishers have a charge time, requiring timing, lest the opponent dodge and counterattack.

Aerial Ace: This fighting style focuses on air combat, utilizing many air combos. Ground attacks are limited, though all of them launch the opponent into the air. It is also the third fastest. As a drawback, attacks are rather weak, and it is most proficient fighting with melee techniques as the few ranged attacks are weak and easy to block.

Spry Striker: This fighting style focuses on evade & counter tactics, allowing the fighter to swiftly evade an attack, then strike back in the same movement. Attacks consist of fast-paced, powerful combos, and speed is second highest among all warriors. However, range is limited, and attacks have long startup and cooldown.

Warriors of Discord:
Nemesis: This fighting style revolves around using a large weapon to crush enemies with powerful attacks. The weapon has multiple forms, and is thus very versatile. Most attacks are melee, but there are several charging attacks for mid and long range. The drawback is the slow speed and telegraphing of most attacks, allowing them to be easily blocked.

Trap Master: This fighting style revolves around using a wide arsenal of traps to to pressure the opponent and distract them to allow time to charge the powerful attacks. As a downside, the effectiveness of the traps is influenced by the terrain. Most of the traps are also easy to avoid in most situations, and can even be turned against the user. There are actual attacks that don't require long charge times, and they are very weak. Slow speed is another downfall.

Bane of Life: This fighting style focuses on using a wide array of magic spells to attack opponents from multiple ranges. This fighting style uses no melee attacks, and relies only on magic, which leaves the user open to counterattacks. Movement is also quite slow.

Thaumaturge: This fighting style uses a unique combination of melee and magic to strike at multiple ranges simultaneously.As a drawback, attacks are readable and easy to dodge when used to attack from a distance, and blockable at close range. Speed is average, as is power.

Entropic Adversary(Claimed by Ludwig Beilschmidt):This fighting style focuses almost entirely on guards and counterattacks. Offensive output is paltry under normal circumstances. The only true offense is the counterattacks that come from blocking an attack with one of the many magic shield options. There are a few attacks available, but they are slow and weak. Counterattacks are swift and very powerful. Ground speed is the slowest by far, though the user can teleport short distances.

Mad Mage: This fighting style revolves around using powerful magic spells with a sadistic twist: they have erratic patterns and hit over wide area, catching opponents by surprise. When they hit, they are very painful. Most of them can be blocked, however, and speed is rather lackluster.

Focused Blade: This fighting style uses peerless swordsmanship to deliver swift, powerful attacks. Sword swings carry cutting wind with them to hit multiple times with a single swing. Ranged capabilities are limited, and the few ranged attacks get weaker with distance. Speed is fairly high.

Sorceress Fusileer: This fighting style revolves around using magic bolts to bombard enemies. The user can also attack while moving. As a downside, movement is extremely slow, and all attacks must be charged in order to do anything other than be a distraction.

Graceful Glider This fighting style uses magic spells that are both stylish and powerful, and change in accordance to distance, offering great versatility. The user can also glide using magic. Unfortunately, all attacks are of medium range, and have linear patterns with limited vertical range, allowing them to be anticipated.

Brutal Blitzer: This fighting style uses fast, powerful melee attacks that can be charged to savage extremes. When charged, attacks have better range, power, and can crush guards. Movement speed is very fast, though this fighting style is for close range only. Attacks also have a long cooldown.

Rules:
1. What I and my Co-GMs say is law.
2. Obviously, standard forum rules apply.
3. Godmodding is not allowed except in cases where one would not be able to avoid an incoming attack. That will be decided by the recipient's actions, and the judgement of myself and my Co-GMs.
4. You shall control your character and only your character.
5. Do not do anything that would hinder other players from having fun. That's what this is about.
6. If you must enter a state of inactivity for any length of time, notify myself or a Co-GM. Failure to notify one of us will result in someone else taking control of your character(s), by my decision.
7. Failure to comply with any one of these rules which I have set forth will result in escalating consequences. 1st offense= reprimand. 2nd offense= temporary suspension from the RP. 3rd offense= Ban from the RP and referral to higher authority.

Name: The Old Man (he doesn't even know his name which works very well here don'tcha think?)

Age: Pretty Freaken Old

Alignment: Anarchy Forever (This means Discord :p)

History: A mysterious old man who prefers to let others do his fighting.

Fighting style: Mad Mage.

Abilities:
1. Teleportation
2. The power to use his sarcasm as magical based attacks
3. Projecting magic into his staff to produce a blinding light.
4. Super Charm (basically being able to convince people too do things)
5. The ability to make people dance against their will by singing.

Lol my abilities are awesome :)

His weapon: The staff the old man uses as a cane. The staff emits light this staff is mystically tied to the old man. if another person holds the staff for more then 30 minutes he/she will go insane. The old man can summon the staff back to him if he loses it or breaks it, if it is broken when he summons it to him it will be repaired.

Name: Unicorn Man
Age: 22
Alignment: Harmony
History: Unicorn Man was once known as Shigeru Miyamoto. He came from planet Ninteldo, and was a farmboy there. One day, however, a meteor struck. It was rainbow, and sparkling all over the place, and overall looked pretty tasty. So Shigeru tried to eat it. And it was really tasty! He ate the whole damn thing! That night, he had horrible stomach pain, really bad gas, and diarrhea. Also, he grew a horn. After going to the doctor, he was diagnosed with Unicornitis. It's a disease that causes the user to gain unicorn powers. So he decided to use his powers to fight evil and beat the twisted evil thing! He decided to go fight evil.
Fighting style: Paragon
Abilities:
Super Strength: Unicorn Man has amazing strength, enough to tear metal bars in half. He can use this to deliver powerful punches.
Healing: Unicorn Man's horn contains special magic that lets him heal himself and others.
Unibeam: Unicorn Man can also shoot a beam of light from his horn, damaging enemies.
Unidash: Unicorn Man's feet can emit a rainbow light, letting him move faster than the eye can see, effectively granting him a short-range teleport.
Unicorn Release: Unicorn Man's horn grows until it's 10 feet long, and a quartet of smaller horns grow around it. In this form, his Unibeam becomes huge and strong enough to obliterate. However, his horn is vulnerable to breakage in this state.

Other: Something about time.
