That leak said that Yamper's Japanese name is the same as its English name but it's confirmed to be "Wanpachi". It's most likely fake at this point.

It would be SO dramatic if Oleana turned out to be Sonia's mother and asked her to lose, just to keep Leon's record. But that'd be another retread of SuMo, what with the cruel parenting. But I'd like it either way, at least it couldn't be attributed to space-jellyfish poison.

I think Pokemon Masters makes the "Battle All-stars" thing very unlikely. Might be different mechanics, but their selling point of including all of the past characters is very redundant.

That doesn't mean that we can't see any returning characters in Galar.

Well no, it doesn't rule out seeing any of them in Galar, but it does make it unlikely that they would add in a facility that features all of the old protagonists and rivals when there's already a recent game that does that.
