Can we Hall of Shame this, please? Bulbagarden has let so many of its infamous stupid debates pass it by, and I just want the opportunity to have at least one of them get ripped on mercilessly.

There's no reason to. There's nothing shameful about this thread and my reasons for creating it were just and suggested by a moderator.

This has no business in the hall of shame. I'd rather see it locked now that it has been established that further discussion of this sort needs to be continued in PM.
