Night Blood Academy​

Welcome to Night Blood Academy, a high school built by monsters, for monsters. We aim to teach young monsters the ins and outs of human society. Since humans are the dominant species on the planet, and their unaware of the existence of monsters. So its only natural that we try to live alongside them to avoid an all out war. Here, Monsters are taught how to control their powers, maintain human forms, and blend into human society. We have 3 main rules that everyone must follow.

1. All students must maintain there human form durring classes at all times, unless stated otherwise.

2. Bullying is frowned upon, and will be treated with a zero tolerance policy.

3. Humans are never permitted to know about the academy, let along even enter.

With the summer now over, we eagerly await you to come to our humble academy. See you there!

This is a simple Academy RP where you'll play a monster attending the academy, or a human who was enrolled there by some sort of mistake and has to keep their humanity a secret. You can be pretty much what ever you want to be, so let your imagination run wild. (Just dont go to overboard, k.)

3. Violence and Romance is perfectly fine, but don't over do it. (No murdering or baby making!)

4. Try to be active!

Species: Vampire

Appearance: Alice stands at 5,4 and weighs 101 lbs. Alice has an hour glass figure, and is perfectly proportioned. She has pale alabaster skin that burns fairly easily, and long flowing blonde waist length hair that she lets hang freely In her human form, Alice has bright green eyes that sparkle like emeralds, and her teeth are like that of any other human. In her Vampire form though, her emerald green eyes turn blood red, and two fangs appear where her canine teeth are. Alice typically wears cute dresses or skirts that never reach higher then her mid thigh.

History: Alice was born to the noble Tepes Family, a family of Vampires. She is the only child, and is the so inheritor of the Tepes Fortune and to become to become head of the family when her parents can no longer fulfill that duty. Alice however, was never extremely interested in Vampire things, and was absolutely fascinated by humans. Alice has never actually had friends, and its because of this lack of social interaction, she can be a little naive. She's very glad to be going to Night Blood Academy, so she can meet people her own age.

Powers: When in her Vampire Form, Alice gains access to powerful regenerative abilities that would heal wounds that would otherwise be fatal to humans. The she can heal more serious wounds by drinking blood from someone else. Alice is also granted with fairly decent agility that makes her faster and more acrobatic then an olympic athlete, but her strength is by far her most powerful trait, being able to shatter boulders into pebbles with a mere punch. Being a Vampire, she inject her own blood into others with her fangs to transform others into Vampires (Only works on humans.) However, Alice is very vulnerable to oak wood like most Vampires. Oak wood steaks actually restrict a Vampire's ability to heal their wounds, and cuts their strength in half. Vampires also have sensitive skin, which burns easily in the sun

Abilities: Alice is decent student, usually getting B's and A's in school. Alice is also a very talented artist, being fairly competent with a pencil and paper. Alice also claims to be a decent cook, but her cooking actually knocks people out with food poisoning in mere seconds.

Appearance: Drew stands at 5,10 and weighs 140 lbs. Drew is fairly slim, some consider him to point of being scrawny. He has pale white skin, and bright blue eyes coupled by his long messy black hair that makes it hard to see his bright blue eyes. He typically wears loose fitting clothing, mostly meant for comfort over style, usually wearing a tee shirt with a pair of jeans and running shoes.

History: Drew is your average student who mostly get's B's and C's in all of his classes. To most he seems completely ordinary, which he is. Thinking that Night Blood Academy was just an ordinary boarding school. Thinking that going to private school would look good on College Applications, he enrolled, completely unaware that he was enrolling into a school full of monsters. Drew is the only child in his family, which is also quite average, not being rich or poor, and having a decent childhood. He's simply your average guy.

Powers: Drew is an ordinary human, with no latent powers.

Abilitiesrew likes to read and write, being an amateur novelist, but he's never actually finished a story.

Ok I had to keep myself from reusing the same powers and thus same characters but here it is:

Name: Jack "Frostbite" Renaldo

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Species: Ice Elemental

Appearance: When in his human form, Jack appears to be a relatively well-built teenager. He sports blue eyes, short white hair, and a build that fuels an endless plethora of male stereotypes regarding egos. His attire typically consists of a light blue t-shirt, a silver lightweight jacket, black jeans, and white running shoes. It amuses him that his attire contains countless references to his own abilities when in his real form, which arguably is his sole reason for them in the first place.

However, when in his true form, Jack becomes a sight far more terrifying than it is appealing. His entire body becomes enveloped in a harsh blue aura that freezes almost anything and everything it comes in contact with. Ice covers the bulk of his body, and his eyes are seemingly replaced by a bright white light covering where they would be. Very little of his actual body is visible in this form, even more so considering the blizzard-like effect it creates. At some times, wings made of ice also form from his back.

History: Jack has very little idea of where he came from, as his earliest memories show him being summoned by a witch to perform vicious acts of violence in her name. Possessing the ability to create and manipulate ice from his very being, these actions were little less than mild chores for him. For a few years, he followed his masters every whim, never questioning the amount of control she actually could exert over him. Rather, he simply followed her orders shearly because he lacked a definite alternative way to occupy himself. This would be the case for a long amount of time, until he eventually grew bored and tired of being bossed around. Consequentially, he turned on his "master" and quite literally killed her in cold blood. Leaving her frozen corpse behind, Jack left the witch's abode and journied to a nearby city, observing the humans in it with envy. Some might envy having his own abilities, but Jack actually longed for a simpler life, for entertainment, and, most importantly, for a purpose. Avoiding recognized contact with humans, Jack eventually decided to seek out Night Blood Academy in an effort to successfully blend in with humans.

Powers: When in his Elemental form, Jack can create ice from his very being and manipulate said ice, as well as coldness itself. When necessary, he utilizes this ice in many forms, whether it be an armorlike casing for his body, an extended sharp blade on his arm, or sharp spikelike projectiles to be fired at a distant foe. He also can cause a normal human to die from freezing by placing his hand to any exposed skin on his/her body. Because of this, his usual contact with humans has been extremely isolated.

Abilities: Jack prides himself on being a romantic gifted with a silver tongue, allowing him to talk his way out of even the most intense conflicts. He also has a natural gift for charming ladies, though for obvious reasons he rarely gets an opportunity to utilize this gift.

Name: Cindiri Sylvia (Goes by Cindy)

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Species: Changeling

Appearance (Human): Cindy stands at 5’7” tall and weighs about 136 pounds. She has a medium frame, so she’s not too thin or too broad. She has fair skin and bright ice blue eyes. Her dark brunette hair is straight and reaches down to her shoulders. She likes summer clothes, so cami tops, shorts, and sandals are the type of clothes you’ll typically see her wearing. She wears the same clothes in her monster form.

Appearance (Monster): Cindy is the same height as she was in her human form, and still has the medium frame, but she's unhealthily thin and looks kind of anorexic. Being a Changeling, she is classified as a member of the fairy family, so she shares some fairy-like traits. She has a heart shaped face with a pointy chin and pointed elf-like ears. Her eyes are a dark red, have no pupil or whites, and are narrow shaped. Cindy’s skin is a dark blue-gray, and her hair is straight and is pure white (for a reference, look up “female dunmer” in google images). She also has black claws, which is an alternative way of defense when transforming isn’t enough.

History: A Changeling is a non-human child that has been left in the place of a stolen human child. Cindy was just the same way. Changelings are the unholy and sickly offspring in the fairy family, and because of that, their parents often steal healthy human children and give the human family the Changeling infant. From birth, she knew of her species and that her family wasn’t really hers. Growing up, she became ill very often (and still does get ill), and she had gotten severe headaches when around holy objects. At the age of four, she gained a human brother, who was also completely unaware of her origin. So, she grew up like most children did; with loving parents, an annoying little brother, and had some nice friends. At the age of eight, she had learned that she could transform into more than her human form and true form, so she used this to her advantage to play pranks and cause revenge on children who have teased her in the past. Six years later, at the age of fourteen, Cindy’s true form was almost discovered by her little brother, and in order to stay secret, she begged her parents to enroll her in the Night Blood Academy.

Powers: Cindy can shape shift into whoever she pleases. She cannot turn into an object or an animal, but as long as she has seen who she is transforming into, she can become them. She gains all of their physical traits and voice. However, she cannot gain their powers and abilities. After a transformation, there are usually small piles of ash at her feet. This is because when she is changing, her old skin and flesh is literally ignited and burned off until the new features are visible. She has transformed enough that it is painless, but if anyone were to touch the flames, they will get burnt. Being classified as a member of the fairy family, she possesses magical abilities to an extent, mostly enchantments (but she rarely uses it).

Abilities: Cindy is an amazing liar, and shows nearly no signs of a lying when she’s telling one. But the bigger the lie, the harder it is for her to keep secret.

Appearance: Rei is a tall, slightly overweight kid, pimples practically everywhere. His long brown hair covers his green eyes and pale face. He is very pale due to years of staying in his basement playing video games. He typically wears long ripped blue jeans and a black skull shirt, and sometimes wears a black vest with several pockets.

History: Rei barely passed his previous classes, preferring to play video games instead of doing homework. He typically spent his days lounging in his basement eating chips and watching tv or playing games on his computer. While Rei is extremely smart, he is too lazy to do anything. His siblings are top achievers, which makes his parents upset that he couldn't be. Rei has a bad relationship with his parents, which is why he immediately chose Night blood Academy, as it was the only one with dorms. There was another academy named Velvet Moon Academy, but it was an all girl academy.

Powers: Nothing, just a human.

Abilities: He is really smart when he tries, and is a pretty decent runner.

Other: Again, Velvet Moon.

Hey, heard this through Kenshin Akagi so I was wondering if I could join. Here's my CS

Name: Norre Bo
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Species: Draugr

Appearance: (Human form) Standing at six feet tall, Norre is a little imposing. he has a thick build but is neither fat nor muscular. He likes wearing old rock t-shirts, black jeans, and a skull necklace. He has dark brown eyes and short, spiky black hair.

Appearance: (Monster form) In monster form his skin turns pale green. His bones grow thicker causing his skin and flesh to tear. His shirt tears clean off in the process. The only thing he wears are his jeans and necklace. His eyes and hair turn white.

History: Many years ago, Norre had died. He was stabbed in the back getting mugged on some dock in a harbor. He was given a regular funeral and burial. His body was laid to rest, but his soul never did. He rose from his grave and the first thing he did was track down the guy who killed him and kill him in turn. Much to his surprise, he had risen hundreds of years after he was buried. Norre didn't know what to do until a priest named William Foliot took him in. William taught Norre a little about what happened to the world Norre used to know. Norre couldn't believe William. But for some reason, Norre didn't care. After a few nights living with William, Norre succumbed to his supernatural urges. Bodies were found at alarming rates around town. They were horribly mutilated. Flesh and bone were torn away from each victim. There was a pattern, or at least some kind of clue. The bodies looked like a giant shark just took a bite of them. To William Foliot, he knew what had happened. It wasn't the first time he saw something like this. He knew that the townspeople would suspect Norre since he's new to town so he had prepared before hand. he told Norre of an academy that could help him learn to control his powers. He also gave him a necklace that should repress the urges felt by Norre and his powers. Norre left town and said his goodbyes to the last family he ever knew.

Powers: In his monster form, Norre can do a variety of things. He can turn into mist and phase through solid rock for a short time. He can also increase his size as much as his Necklace can allow (It prevents him from going gigantic as well as suppresses other powers. if he tries to grow too large or remove the necklace, it cuts his head off.) The maximum size Norre can grow is approximately fifteen feet tall. By then, he should weigh well over a ton. Norre possesses incredible strength in his monster form (It stays the same even if he increases size).

Abilities: Norre is an okay student. He's been dead over a century so he isn't very familiar to certain things about modern culture. Norre can dig holes really fast and likes sleeping underground.

Other: Norre likes listening to rock and Metal music and when not in school, he spends his time doing so. Norre likes to play pranks on people. Mainly digging huge pitfalls and waiting for some poor schmuck to fall in one. In his monster form, Norre gets sluggish in his movements which increases when he increases sizes. when increasing sizes, his flesh tears even more. Norre can not move through rocks in an increased size form. Favorite band is VELVET MOON.

Name: Mauve Banzett
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Species: Mothman

Appearance (Human Form): In his human form, Mauve has black hair with purple bangs that frame his face. His eyes are gray, with a red ring around the pupil. He stands at 5'9", and has pale skin. He dresses in semi-casual clothing. Dark jeans, black socks and shoes, a button-up shirt and tie are usually part of his attire. His usual coloring of his wardrobe is red, purple and black. He always wears a moth pendant his human mother gave him, made of silver with two small, red gems as the eyes.

Appearance (Moth Form): Still possessing the same build and height, there are still some drastic differences. Mauve's eyebrows are now moth antennae, but give the appearance of very bushy eyebrows. His eyes are now only hypnotic red orbs. He sprouts a black "mane" of sorts during his transformation. Through the back of his head, where his hair ends begins fur around his head. The fur sprouts from the back of neck, around his head and down his chest, much like chest hair on human men, though Mauve cannot normally grow body hair as a human. His wings are black and gray, with two purple circles on the upper area and purple streaks across the wings. His wings also sport ridges.

History: Mauve was born of the famous Mothman and a human woman, named Claire. He inherited the powers his father owned, and was also able to switch between human and moth form. His mother and father met as scientist and test subject, respectively. But, because the experiments done to the Mothman were becoming more and more lethal, his mother couldn't stand what was being done to him, and freed him. Soon, the Mothman began to love the very woman who had freed him, but was also part of the cruel experimentation done to him. She, in turn, returned those feelings as she saw the human side of him. Thus, Mauve was born. His mother, instead, fell back on a jewelry career. She wanted to express the love she had for the beauty of her husband and child. On Mauve's thirteenth birthday, Claire gave Mauve a moth pendant, made of silver with two, small red jewels as the eyes. Sooner or later, Mauve's mother and father realized he needed friends, as he grew to be a quiet child. So, they had sent him to the Night Blood Academy, so that he may learn to live more easily in a world that would reject Mauve and his family.

Powers: Mauve is able to scatter his poisonous scales, along with blowing them in gusts with his wings. He is also able to fly, but not at very fast speeds. He can also spit poisonous needles, as well as whip up gusts and see in the darkness. Mauve is easily threatened by fire, and tries to avoid it at all costs. Though, he isn't drawn to fire like his lesser sentient relatives. Only moonlight can allow Mauve to regenerate wounds and burns.

Abilities: Mauve plays the violin with exceptional experience.

Other: The Velvet Moon reflects in the eyes of the Mothman.

[Heroic Sociopath]

Name: Ferris Frankenstein
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Species: Chimera

Appearance (Human): Ferris has part of his nature as a monster he cannot hide: His eyes are a very bright shade of green, outside of what one might normally see. He's fairly tall, and slender, with his fingers delicate, like a pianists. His skin is apricot colored, and he always has a bit of a blush. His hair is longish, down to a little past ear-length, somewhat wavy near the ends, and black.

Appearance (Monster): Ferris actually prefers this form a bit. His skin becomes the color of snow, and a dark purple scorpion tail sprouts from his waist. His fingers turn into black claws, and he grows fangs in his teeth. If one looks closely, one can see that his hair is actually a very dark blue.

History: Dislikes speaking of it. He is indeed related to that Frankenstein. His father was indeed as insane as that suggests, and he needed an in vitro child. When he was done, Ferris' DNA had bits of golem, manticore, and gorgon in it. His mother disappeared shortly after his birth, and after his father was arrested for child abuse, he was found by Social Services. He tries not to remember most of his childhood. He was put into foster care, and he's been okay since, although he's been living up to the family name quite well.

Powers: Ferris has four dots on his back. As easily as a human might stretch their arm out, he can cause four large snakes to appear. They grow to up to 7 feet in length, and their bite has a sedative in it that usually knocks people out. If one is cut off, it will grow back in a day or so. The snakes are not intelligent: They are simply body parts. Ferris also has very thick skin, about the strength of iron. Finally, he can make stingers protrude from the backs of his hands: Each one is about 16 inches long, and about as strong as most mundane blades. They also have a poison, that, like his snakes, will knock people out.

Abilities: Ferris is quite skilled at science, and might with some practice be able to recreate his ancestor Victor's experiments. He's also good at martial arts. Finally, he has a tendency to obsess over things. So if something interests him, he'll focus on it and nothing else.

Other: Velvet Moon...That sounds like the name of a brothel.

Name: Aaron Kerdios
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Species: Human

Appearance: Standing at around 175 cm, Aaron is somewhat thin yet fitly muscular, weighing about 67-68 kg. He has dense, pure black hair and tan skin, in addition to widely open dark eyes. He has moderately thick eyebrows and remarkably so eyelashes. He has a few stitches above his Achilles' tendon. He usually likes to wear a plain grey t-shirt (sometimes a collared one) in addition to khakis, or, less frequently, jeans. He has silver running shoes. His typical childish appearance will easily conceal his inhuman soul.

History: Aaron was born and raised in London. His parents always cared for him. His father was born in the States, and received an M.D. from Cambridge University. He was always a brilliant child in school, but he always found a way to be obnoxious to others. He understood things easily (although he hated having work to complete). He always preferred mental challenges to taking care of a physical confrontation directly. He liked his victims to suffer; for them to experience severe mental, psychological, and emotional suffering traumatically. Simply by looking at a person (no matter whatever sort of circumstances they were in) he could infer... everything. He can and will manipulate everyone. He has ofttimes (and will assiduously) provoked violent incessant strife amongst other people simply for his own amuse and desires. He's a clever motherfucker who's not so concerned about his own life as he may seem. He really doesn't value his own life; he just wants everyone to burn miserably. He got himself withdrawn from his prior school during his sophomore year immediately after the semester's beginning, and his parents sent him away to Night Blood tersely.

Abilities: Aside from his inspired brilliance, I suppose what you would call sympathy; also, he's in decent physical shape for a human being.

Other: Velvet Moon (whatever the hell you think that means).

@PokeLegend; It's a decent sign up, but humans don't have any powers, unless there a Witch or Warlock (Who are often considered half human, half monster) So his ability to read people would have to be more of a skill then power. (Only Monsters have powers to be honest) Fix these things up, and I'll approve you.

Gender: Male

Species: Half-Demon

Appearance: In human form, he's 5'5' tall with an average body. He has light skin.He has shaggy dark brown hair that reaches his neck and choppy bangs that cover his forehead. He has hetetochromia, his left eye is green while his right eye is blue. His face looks youngish which makes him look younger than he is to most people, this sometimes annoys him.

In his demon form, he grows to 5'7' with a slightly toned body. His skin color turns into a dark shade of gray and the skin past his elbows and knees turn scaly. He grows claws on his hand and feet. The white of his eyes turns black while both iris turn turquoise. He also has black bat wing on his back.


History: Born from a human mother and a demon father, Tailisu is a happy go lucky kid. He is aware of his demonic heritage but it doesn't bother him cause he knows that his family just want to have a normal happy life with him. He was homeschooled through all of his life and while he was fine with it, he longed to go to a school like the other kids so he could experience the world around him.. He asked his parents to go to a school one day. After thinking it over, they decided to send him to one. They choosed Nigh Blood academy instead of a normal so that Tailisu can be with students like him.

Powers: Thanks for being part demon,he has super strength. He can mend the darkness and use it in a various ways such as attacking, defending and hiding in it. His wings allows him to fly.He's an empath which means he can feel the emotions of others and possibly even be influenced by it, he can't really choose to not use it. He can also sense demonic presense in objects or other demons. Holy object and places just makes him a little dizzy in human form but in his demon form he is greatly weakened by them. He doesn't' have great skills in his power cause he rarely uses his demonic form as he see no need to use them.

Abilities: He has a passion for drawing a so he is a decent drawer.
