Well I live in an urban estate beside a farm and there's a river running by my house so Ratata, Sentret, Zigzagoon, Bidoof, Pidgey, Taillow, Starly, Magikarp, Caterpie, Wurmple, Surskit (possibly), Weedle, Goldeen, Barboach, maybe a Wingull or two, ugh farm Pokemon like Tauros, Miltank, Horsea, Pokabu (not likely) =(
 
Well I live in Florida, United States so A LOT of Wingull...and now with the massive oil spill, we might have problems Grimer and Muk...

I've actually thought about that at moments!
Well, I live in a more or less rural area, with quite a lot of forests. In relation to the city about 20 km away, it's probably what Pallet Town is to Viridian. It actually even looks a bit like Pallet would, so this would probably mean Pokémon you find on early routes and in forests/grasslands. And perhaps also a few more urban ones.

I live in Southampton, on the south coast of the UK, on the edge of the New Forest. I've always pictured the New Forest to be home to all the grass type starters, plus most bird pokemon. Southampton I would say would be like Celadon or Goldenrod; a big city with loads of shops and entertainment. I live on the outskirts of Southampton in a town called Totton, which I've always likened to Violet or Oreburgh in size. I'd also like to think the Forest harbors unusual, rare sightings of possible Legendary pokemon, like Mew or Cresselia.
