But it has a much lower power, and hits on the physical side of the spectrum - a side you already have well covered. Fire Blast hits super effective from the other side of the spectrum against Bronzong, Forretress, and Skarmory, the three biggest threats to your sweep. If they are designed to stop a DD/Outrage sweep, they should be steel (which fire hits super effective against unless it's Heatran, who has better things to do) and physically bulky. Since Salamence can hit hard from both sides, even with minimal EV investment, Fire Blast is the obvious choice.

Brick Break was used in Advance on Mixmence to hit Blissey, but I believe Salamence has generally better options now.
