Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

Name: James Vander.
Age: 19
Hometown/Region: Unnamed village in Johto.

Appearance: James is a fairly tall young man, being near a good six feet. He body is that of an Otaku, basically being quite tubby and pale. He wears a pair of glasses due to his poor eyesight. He often wears dark clothing, and what white clothing he does wear appears to have mustard and Cheetos stains. His long greasy black hair covers his green eyes, and many pimples. His common outfit is a dirty white undershirt, a black jacket, and ripped blue jeans.
Personality:Quite lazy, kinda stupid. If he feels strongly about something, he becomes deathly serious. Slightly perverted.

History: James came from a family centered around pokemon; his father a master trainer, mother and sister both coordinators, and his youngest brother having gone on two journeys, James was the black sheep of the family. He was more concerned about playing video games or dressing in a banana costume than to go on a grand adventure.

But one day, while lurking around on 4chan, he found an article written by an anon trainer who had recently traveled across Kalos, James became addicted to the thought of hot french maids around every corner. So, purchasing a ticket to Kalos, James made his way out of his unnamed village to the land of Hot maids!
Pokémon: Shiny Torchic named Shizuo.
Profession: Trainer

Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

Name: Adam Loyo

Age: 15

Hometown/Region: Sinnoh, Hearthome City.

Appearance: Adam is rather short for his age, standing at 5'3". He has shorter, slightly ruffled brown hair which comes down just over his ears and eyebrows. His usual choice of clothing is a plain black T-shirt with a yellow short-sleeved jacket on top, with black cargo shorts that reach just over his knees and simple black sandals. He has lighter skin and wide, blue eyes.

Personality: Fun-loving, friendly, empathetic, always looking to help. Afraid of confrontation, easily scared, doesn't know how to say no.

History: Adam grew up in Hearthome city with his parents and younger brother. His mother was a coordinator while he father was an assistant researcher for Professor Rowan. Throughout his life, Adam has been surrounded by Pokemon, which sparked a interest in battling and traveling with Pokemon. He visited the Hearthome gym as often as he could just to watch the battles that transpired. Because Hearthome had such a high population, he also had a large amount of friends who shared his enthusiasm for battling. When he turned 13 years old, his parents allowed him to start his Pokemon journey along with his friends. He journeyed all over Sinnoh, collecting badges and eventually competing in the Pokemon league. Although he's not the best battler around, he is extremely eager to continue working and improving himself. He has a knack for developing close bonds with his Pokemon, which in turn helps bring out their full potential. When he befriends a person or a Pokemon, they are usually friends for life.

After his Pokemon league challenge, he decided to settle down for a bit back home. After a few months of relaxing, he felt the desire to start a journey anew rise up in him again. After one more month, he felt like he was going to go bananas, deciding to travel to a new region, Kalos, and start a new journey. He left his Pokemon team behind with his father, bringing only one of his original team with him, a Chimecho named Melody.

Pokémon: Chimecho

Profession: Trainer

Other: During his Sinnoh journey, he has encountered Team Galactic, helping to find Pokemon stolen by them and returning the Pokemon to their trainers. Though he hasn't met any of the higher ups in the group, he is familiar with their grunts.

Personality: Melanie is a tomboy, and has a bit of a temper.

History: Melanie lived a relatively-quiet life with her parents and brother. Her brother, Brandon, is a breeder, and he sent her an egg, which hatched into a Chikorita. She and Melanie have been partners ever-since.

Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

Name: Jaide Rosin
Age: 16
Hometown/Region: Snowpoint City, Sinnoh

Appearance: Standing at 5’5, Jaide has long straight blonde hair and brown eyes. Her skin is very pale and she applies natural appearing makeup to it every day. She wears dark blue skinny jeans, a mint green tank top, black combat boots, and a dark green beanie perfectly placed on her head. Her body is quite thin and lanky.

Personality: She tries to act mature and sophisticated, but in reality she has a hot temper and tends to act like an overbearing mother. She is somewhat girly, but has some tomboyish qualities like her bottomless stomach and nonchalant attitude when provoked.

History: She had a normal childhood, no sob stories, no disappearing parents, just a normal life. She is good friends with Finn, but her motherly attitude halts any changes in their relationship. She picked up breeding when she was younger and loved it ever since.

Pokémon: Ampharos (Momo)

Profession: Breeder

Other: Yet again, bananas are snazzy as hell.

Er, here is another female :p Hope this is good enough!

@Autumnbreeze; Jaide is accepted. If you could all notify the users that users that still have their reserves, we might be able to start this tomorrow.

Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

Oh my God I love anime-style bananas battles!

Unfortunately, most of my dream team can't be found in Kalos anywhere, so. :(

Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

That's unfortunate. However, you can still sign-up if you want, there's still room.

Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

Hm. I guess I could try to figure out a Kalos equivalent.

Anybody know if Swellow can be found in Kalos?

Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

I believe it is; I found some Taillow in my first run through during a horde.

Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

Awesome!

And, I can use one Pokemon from another region! I know which one I'd bring.

EDIT: Although, for this Trainer, I'll probably nix the whole Swellow idea.

Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

@cannspec2; Okay, just please fill out the character application on the first page.

Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

Name: Terrence Wilson
Age: Fifteen, nearly sixteen
Hometown: Littleroot Town, Hoenn, although he was born in Olivine City, Johto.

Appearence: Terrence is a little under six feet tall, with black hair and green eyes. His hair is usually hidden under a fluffy white cap. He wears an orange-and-brown teeshirt, brown pants, and a light brown jacket. (Think Brendan plus a brown jacket)

Personality: Terrence is generally steadfast and dependable, like the Ground Pokemon he's trained since his tenth birthday. He can sometimes get flustered over insignificant details, but will usually calm down rather quickly. In battle, Terrence becomes totally focused, and the term "go easy" is not in his dictionary.

History: Terrence spent a long time living in Olivine City. Frankly, he thinks that those years were quite uneventful, and he'd rather not talk about it. He did, however admire both his father, Norman, and Olivine's Gym Leader, Jasmine, and decided that he, too, would become a type specialist when he grew up. The type he chose was Ground. Around Terrence's tenth birthday, he and the rest of his family moved to the region of Hoenn, where he was given his very first Pokemon, Mudkip. He went on his journey through Hoenn, collecting all eight Gym Badges and defeating the Elite Four. He didn't succeed in defeating the reigning Champion, Wallace, but he was still happy about his accomplishments. After travelling around Hoenn for a couple years, chasing the legendary Ground-type Groudon, Terrence heard of a region called Kalos. On his parents' advice, he left all his Pokemon except his Mudkip (now a Swampert) under the care of Professor Birch, and took the ferry from Slateport to Coumarine.

Pokemon: Swampert ("Marty")

Profession: Aspiring Ground Master

Other: His favorite fruits are strawberries, kiwis, and bananas.

Woot!

Oh, and I just noticed.... Lot of people from Olivine. Myself included.

Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

Could you add the last name "Wilson" that I just came up with for Terrence?

Re: Pokémon Journey: The Kalos Days

Name: Justin Gaines
Age: 13
Hometown: Sunyshore City

Appearance: Just stands at about 5'2" and his figure is rather slim. He has short blonde hair and a set of green eyes, though his head is normally covered by a black knit hat. His most common outfit is a red plaid short sleeved shirt over a gray tshirt, complete with a wearing a pair of brown cargo pants. He is often seen with a pair of red and white sneakers also. Hni 0002 - TheYoshster's Sta.sh (in game image)

Personality: Justin is typically an easy going teen who is very eager and open to meet others. He is quite adventurous and he has a very strong passion for Pokemon and sightseeing. He tends to be very caring of his friends and Pokemon which he often has a soft spot for. While Justin is usually good-natured, caring, and kind boy he can be a bit too bold and curious for his own good and he seems to have trouble letting go of certain things and can be a little sensitive at times. He even seems to depend on others too much and seems to have trouble letting go of who he thinks he should be.

History: From a young age, Justin had a very strong interest in Pokemon and training them. He loved to meet all sorts of Pokemon as his curiosities began at a young age as well as his sense for adventure He wanted to follow in the footsteps of his family, all of which were very skilled trainers, especially his brother. He looked up to his family and wanted to be just as powerful. He was sent to a trainer's school around the time he was 9 years old when his parents really noticed his strong interest in battling and caring for Pokemon.

At the academy, Justin quickly learned about what it takes to be a trainer and he was shown to be easily able to connect to most Pokemon the trainers were given in the school to practice with. Despite his ability to connect, he wasn't the best fighter and continually pressured by other students about the reputation his family had because of their accomplishments. He felt as if he had to prove he was as good as his family and he was usually outsmarted by the more harsh students. He picked up the basic skills of Pokemon training and battles and he managed to pass the academy's program.

When he turned 11, his parents let him pick up his first Pokemon from Professor Rowan. He chose to pick a Chimchar and as time went on, he developed a very close bond to the fiery monkey. He often trained with him and even explored the Sinnoh region quite a bit, though he felt he wasn't ready for the gyms. He wanted to learn more before he took on the gyms and through his travels, he leaned to expand on his skills and eventually help Chimchar evolve into Monferno, though he still has a long way to go. One day his parents began telling him about taking a trip to the Kalos region, a place Justin wanted to see. The family took a vacation to the Kalos region, though when Justin learned it had its own league, he begged his parents to let him compete, feeling like he was ready. He and Monferno were given the permission to go out and explore and Justin was more ready than ever to prove himself.

Other: Eek eek! Bananas!

Pokemon: Monferno
