I’ve looked over your list and I’m questioning, what is your prerequisite for something being a focus episode because some of these either are mixed focus, introduction or have nothing to do with Ash or Go. Like how do you figure the episode dedicated to Scorbunny’s introduction is an Ash episode or even Lance vs Leon? You’re gonna have to give a bit of an explanation on your line of thinking with this list.
Shared focus is still focus. Episodes that have nothing to do with Ash and Goh focus on other characters. JN004 has Ash chasing and battling Scorbunny to get his backpack back. Ash vs Leon is about Ash battling Leon and deciding to defeat him.
He also battled Scorbunny. And Goh just gave advise to Scorbunny and saved it from a random guy.
Shared focus is still focus.
It’s focus in technicality alone. Ash chasing Scorbunny for 5 minutes does not make it an “Ash focus episode”.
It is not an Ash episode. It is an Ash and Goh comibined focus epispde aka shared.
How is JN012 Ash focused? Ash and Goh are both involved equally.
In JN012 Ash decides to take on Leon and admires him meanwhile Go is just there.
That feels like a pretty big reach. The Scorbunny episode was about introducing Scorbunny. The fact that Ash’s backpack is the catalyst to that doesn’t make that an Ash episode. That’s like saying the Farfetch’d episode back in Kanto is a Misty episode because her backpack was stolen.
It is not an Ash episode it is shared. Ash battled Scorbunny with Pikachu while Goh saved it. Also the Farfetch'd episode was Misty and CotD focus.
In JN012 Ash admires Leon and decides to challange him.

Ash deciding he wants to battle someone doesn’t make him the focus of the episode. In fact, his goal of entering the PWC wasn’t decided until the following episode where he learns that he has to enter to have an official battle with Leon.
That just makes Ash the catalyst of the episode happening, not the focal point
And this is why shared focus gets put into its own category. At that point, it’s not putting the spotlight on one or the other but both.
