The Pirate Guild

Pokemon-only * Rated T *

"Ahoy me hearties, tis be yer captain scribblin' these words... me, scourge of the seas, Sandor Morrigan. Let tis' be me last secret 'fore I leave th' cruel world, 'n a warning to ye all high 'bove the dark seafloor... me greatest treasure is cursed. Tis saucy jewel wit' th' many colors, I speak of. Grand't me riches 'n fame, oh, it did, but at a cost. Bugger ol' Morrigan if he trusts 'nother of those magic trinkets! Now ol' me lays here, on me throne of gold and th' skulls of me brave crew, waitin' fer me death. Wenches, I drink damnation! Not that death be th'end. Be warned, then, ye scallywags 'n filthy landlubbers - seek me treasure, 'n me'll rise from the dead to gut ye, bow to stern..."

* Two months after the mysterious disappearance of the former Pirate King, Sandor Morrigan, this letter arrived to the Guild's HQ, bearing his seal. The handwriting was recognized and confirmed to be his by his fellow pirate lords - there was no mistake, these were his last words. Knowing they would come after his legendary treasure, Sandor threatened and warned. The trinket was said to have helped Sandor accomplish so much - earn an untold fortune, become the Pirate King, establish a massive and fearsome fleet of a hundred ships and a reputation for being the deadliest, the most ruthless and cunning of pirates - is now free for the taking for whoever finds it first. ThWord is now that whoever can find his treasure will gain the status of the Pirate King. You belong to one of the pirate crews of the Guild ignored the letter and set out on a collective treasure hunt for Sandor's legendary trinket.

About the Roleplay

* Welcome to the Pirate Guild, a community that abides to no laws, where Pokemon do what they will, not what they are told... a powerful alliance of pirates and freebooters alone. Its HQ built on Ratchet Island, it is widely considered an uprising pirate utopia. You and your crew roam the seas, loot ships or hunt for treasure - or simply strive to become the very best. Your only oath is to your crew. It's your loyal companions whom you'll depend on, out there, in the cruel seas! Whether it's massive waves, sea monsters or Royal Naval ships you face, you'll do it together. Good luck, me hearties!

Carajol Sea

Carajol_zps04ed1eeb.png

The world is mostly composed of this vast sea, with a singular, enormous continent, namely Nautactus. That is where the Royal Naval Army, the main ruling body of Pokemon has built its headquarters. There are many lesser forms of land, the islands, where the bigger part of the population in Carajol lives. The residents of the islands either join the Royal Navy, or the Pirate Guild; either way, most of them live aboard the deck of ships that sail the seas!

Ratchet
is the largest and most notable pirate town, the center of the pirate republic, where the Pirate Guild's headquarters are. It is a lawless haven that operates under a revolutionary form of government that is ran by the republic's de facto leaders, the three Pirate Lords, Angstrom Bladehead, Benjamin Daffuile & Tylor Grubas. After Sandor's disappearance, the Guild is left headless to this day, as every Pirate Lord votes for himself when the elections arrive. A few years ago, the town was brought to its knees from the crippling famine and sickness that tortured its residents. Benjamin Daffuile became a pirate Lord by plundering supplies and medicine and gifting them all to the Guild, thus restoring the residents of Ratchet to strength.

Ratchet's streets sprawl in every direction and the architecture shows no consistency or common vision. It is a city of trade and entertainment, where anything that anyone would ever want to buy — and plenty of things that no one ever wants to buy — is on sale. Frankly, it offers the best ways to spend the booty you've plundered; there are casinos, taverns, playhouses, pleasure resorts, fine restaurants, tearooms, gladiatorial arenas... from the poor crewman to a wealthy & successful pirate, anyone can sate their tastes in Ratchet. As it happens to be the largest port in the north, ships commonly stop there on their way elsewhere. All kinds of Pokemon and types and members of all social or economic statuses are welcome there, which makes the town a hotspot for fights which can result very badly. The city never stops. Its lights are on, its shops open and its services available at any time of day or night. Ratchet also serves as a base of operations for many pirate fleets; although the most highly esteemed pirate captains choose other, remote locations as their base.

Nautactus
is the jewel of the Carajol Sea that shines as the paragon of true virtue. The oldest and grandest city, it is the capital of the Kingdom of Nautactus that is ruled by Queen Elise. It maintains its reputation as an undefeated city; no enemy has been able to penetrate its thick, tall walls and conquer the beyond. Most of the city's coffers are filled by the taxes they impose on the residents of the Kingdom; including the islands of the north, Ratchet and the unwilling members of the Pirate Guild.

The Royal Naval Army's HQ is built on the center of the city, at the base of the mountain where the Queen's Palace is. The duty of the marines is to maintain order and law throughout the Kingdom and impose the might and will of Queen Elise. They are expected to carry out her every order immediately and without question. Their main purpose is bringing justice down upon any criminal. As such, anyone who claims to be a pirate is an enemy and must pay according to their crimes. However, the reach of the marines ends in Ratchet; the residents of the island and members of the Pirate Guild or their town cannot be harmed by any justice, seeing as their wrongdoing is done elsewhere. The asylum provided to Ratchet was sealed with the Gull Agreement, many years before the present timeline.

Forbidden Fruits
these are fruits known to possess undefined power. there are many individuals who ate these fruits, thereby gaining their power. However, these fruits, despite how powerful they are, only exist one at a time per specieS. For example, only one Flamethrower fruit exists in the world. No other Flamethrower fruits exist anywhere else. This includes already ingested fruits. Let’s take Pirate X has Y fruit. No Y fruit exists anymore, nor does another Z pirate possess Y fruit. Also unlike normal moves, fruit-induced moves are significantly stronger. An individual cannot ingest more than one fruit, as the fruits are theorized to be parasitic in nature and as such, dangerous when combined.

A Pokemon which has digested a Forbidden Fruit may gain the Fruit's power as an active move which they can use at all times. The Fruits make the move available to Pokemon which could not normally learn this move; for example, a Marowak may eat the Thunderbolt Fruit, and it will be able to use Thunderbolt despite not being able to learn this move canonically.

Hazzard: whoever eats a Fruit loses the ability to swim. That means, if your character possesses the powers of a fruit, they are no longer able to swim in the waters of the ocean, even if they are water-type Pokemon!

Rules

2. The standard no godmodding or bunnying, unless given permission.

8. If we're to keep this running smoothly, you will listen to me at all times. In return, I'll answer any questions you may have regarding anything.

May I reserve a member spot on Seawolves?

Name: Edward "Candleburner" Nafekop

Species: Azumaril

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: A large Azumaril who wears a pair of tattered trousers, with several pockets and hundreds of hidden pouches for weapons, as well as a dusty shirt with the top few buttons fallen off. Wears a hat with steel plating hidden inside, with flip-out blades in the brim.

Personality: Edward is a twisted mind who can put on a friendly face and be torturing disobedient crew members. He enjoys his enemies' demises more than anything else in the world. He, however, is also cunning, preferring a more subtle approach rather than charging in. He often will begin attacks by hailing for help, then ramming enemy ships, and lighting them on fire. Although he can be very rough, his is relatively kind to his crew.

Background: Edward is renowned for being an outstanding torturer. Using methods such as berry-dipping (Forcing torturees to swallow near-useless berries, then thrusting them into water), Candle and long nails (driving large nails or stakes through a torturees hands/paws/etc... and sticking a candle on each nail, lighting it, and letting the hot, melting wax burn the torturees flesh), and Poison de/re-administration (Repeatedly poisoning and healing torturees), Edward has never faced someone who could resist his torture. Before his sailing days, he was often hired to "convince" prisoners to talk. Once, when he was 10, he was sent to a counselor for psychological analasys. Just a few months ago, the counselor was found in a cave in the fetal position, and refused to leave, stating "The sharp things are out there."

Moves: Hydro-Pump, Surf, Dive, Waterfall, curse, Giga drain, and poison needle.

Quirks: Brutally honest. While Edward stays true to his words, he doesn't always know when to sugarcoat certain statements, giving him a bit of a socially awkward presence at times.

Forbidden Fruit: None.

Crew Name: Dead Cell

Ship Name & Flag: The ship's hull is maid of giant spikes, and has large canons for shooting balls of flaming oil. The ship's original name was the S.S. Achron, was often called the "Death Plead" by prisoners who had been aboard. The name stuck, and the ship was rechristened to "S.S. Death Plead". The flag is black, featuring a skeleton being kebab'd from the skull to the foot by a giant, flaming nail.

Other: Certain NPCs will stay as far as possible from him, fearing he may want to torture them.

This is a very interesting scenario. If it can stay active, it sounds like it would be a lot of fun!

So, I guess that means I should post a sign-up, then? Here you go. :D

Name: Marshall Leroy
Species: Scrafty
Age: 19
Gender: Male

Appearance: Standard build for his species. Marshall wears a simple blue headband just over his eyes, with a similar blue band wrapped around his left upper-arm. Part of his species' signature head-crest appears to have been torn off, ripped and scarred down the middle, likely the result of a fight gone out-of-hand.

Personality: Marshall is usually quiet and reserved, though this is not because he is shy or timid. Far from it. Marshall firmly believes that actions speak louder than words, and is not afraid to put this philosophy into practice. He doesn't waste his time mincing words; either get to the point or shut up. If you have nothing important to say, then it would be best if you just didn't say it at all.

He is tough, capable, and loyal; however, he can also appear headstrong, brash, and slightly dim-witted. He is aware that brains are not his strong suit, and it doesn't bother him. He'd rather have his fists do the talking anyways. While it can be hard to get on his good side, once you have befriended him, you have a guardian for life.

Background: Marshall was born and raised in Nautactus, living out an uneventful life with a lower-class family that struggled to make ends meet. Seeing that there was no conceivable method of crawling up from poverty through conventional means, Marshall ran from Nautactus to become a pirate. He promised his family that one day he would return to share his prosperity.

While it was tough evading the Royal Navy of Nautactus, Marshall managed to escape the city, fleeing to the town of Ratchet and joining up with a small band of petty thieves. Though their earnings were small compared to the big-name guilds, they got by; Marshall made more money as a thief in a few weeks than his family had earned in a year. He was convinced this was the life for him. He built his reputation as a fighter, excelling in combat and winning many battles for his friends. He soon attracted the attention of the more respectable guilds, and was frequently hired as a bodyguard for the higher-ups. He currently travels with as a member of the Seawolves, which has proven to be the most profitable group so far.

Dreams/Goals: Money, money, and more money. Growing up in poverty, Marshall's main goal is financial security. Though on the surface it's mistaken for heartless greed, Marshall is after wealth to provide for his family back home, and earn security for himself and any possible children he may have in the future.

Quirks: He is exceedingly loyal to those who have earned his trust, but that trust is rarely given. Making fun of his torn head-crest aggravates him greatly; mocking his family... well, let's just say you'd better have written your will already if you do.

Moves: Drain Punch, Ice Punch, Payback, Feint Attack, Dragon Dance.

Crew Name: Seawolves.

Other: Likes: Settling problems with his fists, finding treasure, preemptive action.
Hates: Diplomacy, hypocrisy, hesitation, and Fairy-type Pokemon.

And because most other RP's here have a spot for it...
Theme Song: "The Root of All Evil" by Dream Theater.

@Pokefan548 Interesting SU. Could you please elaborate your character further, though? If he is to captain a ship, I expect your character to be somewhat thoroughly imagined.

@GastlyGibus you're accepted, mate. Don't forget to add your fill out the new section, Forbidden Fruit (sorry, I forgot to add it in the original SU format), if your character has eaten any.

No thanks; I like being able to swim. I feel it will come in handy, you know, being a pirate and all. :p

@pokefan hmm... alright then. You're accepted. Alright, time for my SU. Behold, the Captain of the Seawolves!

Name: Shango, often called the Fuss in Hood or Wonderboy

"Wonderbooooooy! What is the secret to your power? Wonderbooooooy, won't you take me far awaaaay from the mucky muck?"

Sorry, I just had to point that out. lol!

Question though: Since we're playing as Pokemon, are Pokemon ages similar to humans'? I made mine assuming it was similar to human age, and your SU looks like that would be the case. Just wanted to be sure.

Name: Obelix (Nicknamed X)

Species: Haxorus

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Appearance:

image.jpg

X is lithe a tall compared to other Haxoruses, and can usually be seen wearing a purple bandana and cape, attached to a dark blue waistcoat. Other than this, he is no different than any other Haxorus. He has a belt that has twin rapiers hanging from their sheaths.

He also bears scars and black claw marks on his olive plates. He often got into fights with many Druddigon, so now he carries the mark of a well fought combatant. While this is sometimes seen as a weakness in his armor, he sees it as a medal of valor.

Personality: X is usually very arrogant and ignorant in order to guard his emotions. He has turned almost emotionless, only caring for the well-being of the Seawolves and his little Axew brother named Drake. He decided a long time ago that he'd become a captain someday, to lead brave souls. Also, to fulfill his little brother's dream of fighting alongside X. He doesn't care about death, treachery, not even about humans. He has learned to isolate himself from love and romance.

Background: Growing up on the shore of Inca with his mother, Kimora, X lived an isolated but happy life. He would always play in the shallows by the beach, his best friends being a Frillish, a Seadra, and a Gorebyss. All of them loved the sea (even though X was a dragon type). So when Obelix turned 13, Kimora gave birth to little Drake. X had a dream one night at age fifteen. He had been sailing a large ship, it's olive sails wide in a wing-like crest. He was standing proudly as captain. He'd only heard stories about the imfamous pirates the Seawolves. He admired them so much. When he woke up, his mom told him to join the pirate guild and to fulfill his dreams.

So there X was, traveling on a fast current created by his water-type friends. He knew that the guild existed, but he didn't realize it was this big. He was quick to fit in; well, after he earned his scars. He would train with many Druddigon who also dreamt of getting stronger. He thanked the Druddigon for letting him earn his worth, and began to train under Captain Shango. He's looked up to the captain for as long as he could remember; he couldn't believe he had become a crew of the Seawolves. Maybe he wasn't fit for captainship quite yet. He could live with that. Being a member of the Seawolves was rewarding enough.

Dreams/Goals: To become Pirate Captain of Seawolves someday, to let little Drake fight alongside him

Quirks: X is brave, but he also is arrogant and aggressive to the point of ignorance. He also has deep respect for Captain Shango.

Moves: Dual Chop, Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance, Slash, Guillotine, Superpower, X-Scissor

Forbidden Fruit: N/A

Crew Name: Seawolves

Other: N/A

Name:Ransom Bloodtooth

Species: Lucario

Age: 35

Appearance: Not many big differences between him and his species. The only key differences is the scar on his left eye, and his tail with a split at the tip. He wears a blue cape that reaches down to his tail, which also hides Oracle, A Cutlass which glows blue when it responds to his aura. he wears a black chausse on his right leg and a holstered Pistol Knife on his right leg. His left arm is fully armored, with the Pauldron having a pair of Dragon Fangs attached to it. He has 3 ring piercings on his right ear.

Personality: Powerful, noble, wise, elegant, aristocratic, his strength and knowledge knows no bounds. his personality has given him fame throughout the Carajol Sea. As an aristocrat, he enjoys seeing new places, meeting new people and gaining new experiences.
Non-merciful, destructive, immoral and somewhat sadistic, making him angry is the worst thing one can do. he shows a somewhat anti-heroic side whenever driven to anger. His anger is the source of his power, the angrier he is, the stronger he gets. Having gone through rigorous training throughout his life has given his the control of his emotions, while getting stronger. However, when his friends and loved ones are in trouble, he can ignite the fire inside him to gain the strength he needs to save those he cares about.

Background: 15 years ago, in his young age, he was part of a group of assassins-for-hire known as "The Shadow Burst" They were feared and respected in Ratchet. The Pirate Lord, Benjamin Daffuile, favored the Shadow Burst as their tactics were nice and clean an they go through all measures to accomplish their mission. as the mercenary group's fame and strength grew, they were targeted by a secret military from Nautactus that infiltrated Ratchet. The Chief of the military, Robert Abernathy, believed that The Shadow Burst will eventually get strong enough to be able conquer Nautactus. this Military group set The Shadow Burst for a trap and Ransom witnessed his friends be killed one by one. after it was over. Ransom managed to survive the attack, walking away with a wound on his left eye. he went on a journey and trained severely to avenge his fallen comrades. he wiped out the entire military group but felt like there should be more to do. he now aims for a new goal, and met Shango, and joined the Seawolves.

Moves: Aura Sphere. Blaze Kick. Psychic, Extreme Speed, Shadow Claw, Bulldoze, Poison Jab

Goal: To be known as the strongest fighter in the world. he only wants to challenge fighters around the world to hain strength and be known as a living legend.

Quirks: He has a photographic memory, which makes him incredibly knowledgeable. He uses his knowledge to guide the Seawolves to right directions. while traveling with the Seawolves, he constantly gains more memories, and more knowledge.

Forbidden Fruit: None

Crew Name: Seawolves

@DJOmega & Heliolisk thanks for applying, you are accepted!

Guys, keep in mind that this is a Pokemon-only world. No humans exist whatsoever!

@GastlyGibus yes, define Pokemon age as proportional to human age.

Here's the complete SU of the Captain of the Seawolves :p

Name: Shango, often called the Fuss in Hood or Wonderboy
Species: Zangoose
Age: Unknown; though he's assumed to be from 32 to 40.
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Shangocapn_zps97a80f3d.png

He is bulkier than the average Zangoose, although shorter. His wild, unruly facial hair gives him the gruff look of a pirate. Often, he is seen wearing a cloak with a hood, although it doesn't seem to serve any purpose, as his identity is well known despite the cloak. Shango is an imposing figure of authority, but still pertains the attitude of an outgoing, hearty pirate.

On his waist is tied a red sash that has an insignia that resembles the letter "H" fastened onto it; like the cloak, the insignia does not seem to have a purpose other than a decorative one.

Personality: Shango is a soft-spoken, elegant and down-to-earth lad who is greatly confident (to the point of arrogance) in his abilities and tends to leave everything to luck. Though maybe not obvious at first sight, he's a tricky and ruthless pirate through and through, although not one without compassion. He uses his wits and deceit to achieve his goals and prefers to end disputes verbally instead of using brute force. He treads lightly when in danger, careful to slip out victorious or simply still alive. He is shrewd and calculating when it comes to formulating plans and has a good nose for where the treasure is, although he never seems to seek it by himself.

Shango prefers to negotiate than fight, trying to tempt his enemies away from their murderous intentions by invoking a parley. He carefully arranges terms to his crew's favor while making deals that are treacherously worded. That being said, Shango is an accomplished liar that can make up whole stories on the fly. Subsequently, he is a skilled storyteller and entertainer. But there are times when words fail him, and his feelings get the best of him - especially the one of anger.

Other than that, Shango is an enigma of a Pokemon. While intense and charming, he also behaves strangely at times... for example, he can keep up entire conversations with himself or is often seen caressing the air. Furthermore, as a pirate, he was supposed to love riches and fame, but that is not the case. Quite the opposite, in fact, he doesn't seem too keen on finding treasure and making a name for himself. Plundering ships is the least of his worries and he does his best to avoid hurting Pokemon. Some members of the Guild have wondered why exactly Shango is a pirate, and not a noble in the just Nautactus; others have theorized that he hides a great secret, and that the robes and insignia he often wears are connected to it.

He is known to be friendly with Pirate Lord Tylor Grubas, who calls him 'Wonderboy' every chance he gets.

Background: Folks don't know much about Shango, as he doesn't let on anything. You can easily tell he is not from Nautactus or anywhere else on the islands from his accent, which seems outlandish compared to the natives of Carajol. The earliest record of Shango in the region is when he joined the Royal Privateers as a member of a crew that was sent to catch pirates with bounties on their heads, two years prior to the RP. After that, it's said he ruthlessly killed the captain and took over the ship, the HMS Avenger; after the mutiny, they became pirates and joined the Pirate Guild. However, most of them were killed during an ambush executed from the marines, and the surviving ones quit.

It was Tylor Grubas who helped Shango find and assemble the crew he has come to have today; meanwhile, Shango seemed keen on keeping close to the former Pirate King, Sandor Morrigan, before his disappearance. After that, he decided that they would all set sail after his magical treasure. Lesser booty doesn't appear to interest him; he's set his sights on Sandor's trinket alone.

Moves: I don't make him use any moves, he knows how to kill with his claws and that's enough. But I can tell you, he knows how to use Flamethrower
Goals/Dreams: Although it is obscure, by seeking out the Pirate King Sandor's treasure, it is implied that Shango wishes to become the next Pirate King. Then again, he was never after fame.

As confessed to Tylor Grubas one time, though, his greatest dream is of "Claire".
Quirks: He speaks his mind - to himself, out loud, in the hearing of others. That's how his plans are often made.
Forbidden Fruit: Phantom Force Fruit
Crew Name: The Seawolves
Ship Name & Flag: HMS Avenger is a fully equipped schooner, formally belonging to the Royal Naval Army. It boasts a full-fledged iron hull that protects it from cannon fire and the like, a reinforced ram, two masts. It's painted after the colors of the marines, blue and white. Its flag looks like a compass, of all things:

Alright guys, I figured we should get started ASAP, so I posted the IC thread. It doesn't matter that the slots aren't full yet; we can keep this operable exactly as we are now and still have tons of fun.

After you read the first post:
the main objective as of now is to figure out where the first mate of Sandor Morrigan, Pete Sandals is hiding, so that we may get to know the Pirate King's fate. Your characters have already been ordered to search for the man; you may start out at a group or individually. As soon as you arrive in the right place, I'll make a post with Pete where you will find him out; keep in mind that he is a PC controlled by me, and not an NPC. As for Edward Candleburner, he may search for him on his own initiative. Let this be the start to a great pirate adventure!

You are reserved, if you wish. Originally, I had let on only two spots for crews, but since you're willing to make up two characters, I'll allow a third crew.

Heh, I just thought that the less crews, the more PCs could interact with each other as they are aboard the same ship xD but creating a new crew is alright as well. Whatever suits you!

The Captain. His first mate will be posted shortly.

Name: Captain Thomas Waves "The Discharged"
Species: Empoleon
Age: 42
Gender: Male
Appearance: Waves, as he prefers to be called, has a build like any other of his species, though he stands slightly taller than most, which can make him seem somewhat intimidating. He doesn't wear much to identify himself as a captain, but instead, chooses to dress himself in a simple worn, leather vest and a p€air of baggy bottoms. He keeps a rapier at his side at all times, and keeps a navy compass in his pocket.

Personality: Waves is a calm, but firm man. He speaks with an authorative tone, but is never condescending, giving everyone he speaks to equal respect until he finds reason not to. Waves is a man who believes in the concept 'all men are made equal,' due to his upbringing in an environment away from pirates. An obvious foreigner, with his cautious childhood and a few books, Waves developed a sense of justice, which led to him becoming a navy captain of Nautactus fleet, and eventually, his actions after his discharge. Waves would like to believe that somewhere, there is good in every man, even the most cutthroat of pirates, but he is not blind to the evil deeds of his fellow sailors.

Waves is a gentle man, and is not one to resort to violence except in the pursuit of justice. Despite his background in the navy and his status as a foreigner, he gets along with most of his fellow sailors. He can often be seen on the docks, tending to his ship after a battle and treating her like his own child. But underneath the kind heart lies a fierce warrior. When in pursuit of a boat of rogues, he refuses to give up, and will fight 'til the end, making sure that justice is brought upon the crooks, whether pirate or navy alike.

Background: Waves was born to a rich set of parents on an island farther away from his home than what is seen on the map. When he was thirteen, a boat he was traveling on with his parents was wrecked in the midst of a storm, and he alone surfaced on the shores of Nautactus. He was then taken in by a navy commander, and was raised on a boat, where he became a skilled sailor and then a captain of one of the navy's elite ships at the age of 24.

Waves served as a captain for many years, eager to bring law breaking criminals to justice. On one fateful afternoon, however, Waves found himself in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and caught his adopted father in a shady deal with a pirate. Following his heart, he tried to turn his father in, but found the entire navy council corrupt, and was discharged with 'Malicious slander' of a commanding officer. Refusing to let this betrayal get away, the Pokémon stole off with his boat, followed by his loyal first mate. Since then, he has brought vigilante justice to the worst of the worst, and fights to protect the innocent people on all of the islands.

Moves: Metal Claw/Drill Peck/Aqua Jet/Ice Beam/Hydro Pump/Signal Beam/Flash Cannon
Goals/Dreams: To bring justice to the sea.
Quirks: He isn't quick to pick up on jokes.
Forbidden Fruit: N/A
Crew Name: Tridents
Ship Name & Flag: Poseidon's Wrath: The flag is blue with the shape of the trident on top of an Empoleon's head serving as the symbol. His ship is a small vessel armed with a select few cannons and made for traveling at fast speeds, even in stormy weather conditions. It trades in these properties for durability, but is a feared boat everywhere across the sea.

Name: Mary Tobias
Species: Ampharos
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Appearance: Mary is a little shorter and thinner than most Ampharos, but makes up for this by her energy and skill aboard ship. She wears a white top covered by a vest and tight brown shorts. She has a small scar on the side of her right arm from an encounter with pirates before her enjoinment in the navy under Waves's command. She carries a twin set of pistols in the holsters at her belt.

Personality: Mary is highly energetic, and bounces around all over the place, handling multiple tasks all at once in order to spread it all out for purposes useful to her captain. She gets easily excited over any signs of success, and disappointment and any signs of failure.

Mary adores her captain, not in the romantic fashion, but as her hero. She will do anything it takes to make him proud, and is relentless in her pursuits of doing so. She would travel to the ends of the earth for her captain, and even to the depths of Davy Jones's locker...

Background: Originally a young girl on the northern most island of the Novayas, Mary enlisted under the command of Captain Thomas Waves after she was saved personally by the man during a raid by pirates. Since then, she has loyally served under his command, even to the point of making it to first mate status.

When Waves tried to bring his foster father to justice, Mary was the only one to believe her captain, and was shocked that he was discharged because of his claim. When Waves made way to leave, she helped him steal the Poseidon's Wrath and left with him to carve their own fates on the ocean blue.

Dreams/Goals: To win her captain's approval.
Quirks: A bit clumsy, due to her high energy.
Moves: Dragon Pulse/Thunderbolt/Signal Beam/Charge/Fire Punch/Thunder Wave
Forbidden Fruit: N/A
Crew Name: The Tridents
Other: Can't swim.
