My guess is he just couldn't handle the pain from his history of back injures. We'll have to wait for an official autopsy, of course. Sad to see another wrestler get cut off before their time. If this keeps up, I'd imagine a full-fledged investigation being launched in the near-future. Think about it. Why can people like Jimmy Snuka, Ric Flair, or Vader live to old ages, but others pass away at half those ages? Obviously, it has something to do with a change in working conditions (though not necessarily roids). I wouldn't be surprised if we see some of the "superstars" of today suffer similar fates.

Interestingly, he's the sixth wrestler to die in the Tampa area in recent times. Mr. Perfect, Bam Bam Bigelow, Mike Awesome, Miss Elizabeth, and one other who I can't recall at the time have all died while staying in that area. Conspiracy? Coincidence? Who can really say. Interesting piece of trivia, though.

A lot of wrestlers live in Tampa. Chris Jericho, Hulk Hogan, Batista, John Cena, Christian, just to name a few.

Fuck, Jericho? I could live without Cena and Batista (in fact, I'd put the latter on my dead pool >_>, it's obvious the guy's done so many roids; not that it wouldn't be tragic, it's just that I wouldn't be surprised), but Jericho dying would suck so hard. Christian too, to a lesser extent.

Speaking of roids, an update said that the police found steroids and painkillers in his apartment. Hmm...so that doesn't confirm or deny my theory, but it does mean the guy had a painkiller addiction. Wonder which one did him in.
