Hey a quick question. Has Arcanine appeared in Sword and Shield trailers or promo pictures? I know growlithe has and by extension Arcanine should be, but are there any pictures?

Yes, it appeared in a Dynamax-battle.

While that would be nice, its a gen 6 Pokemon, so its design is still relatively new.

Audino got a Mega one generation later, I don’t see why this would have been much different especially since it’s been even longer.

Mega's are different, since they aren't permanent.

Audino's design isn't really as high-concept as Aegislash's; I would imagine it's easier to build upon/rework.

Oh I thought they were talking about a G-Max Form cause I could totally see Aegislash with one. But yeah I don’t really see it getting a variant.

Yeah, and maybe other counterparts like Petilil/Lilligant, Shelmet/Accelgor, Vullaby/Mandibuzz and Spritzee/Aromatisse are in as well. Especially Shelmet, because of its evolution-method.

And Corsola because of Mareanie/Toxapex.

Not necessarily. The Caterpie line is in the Alola Dex but the Weedle line isn't, so some Pokémon could be included without their counterparts.

tbh, you can argue that Butterfree and Beedrill aren't counterparts anymore since Beedrill got a Mega, while Butterfree didn't.
