Okay, I need a team to challenge the Battle Tower for DP.. So this is my current team..

Crobat (Ev on Speed & ATk)
- Fly
- Toxic
- Protect
- Confuse Ray

Lapras (Ev on Sp.Atk and HP)
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Rest
- Perish Song*

Wobbuffet (Ev on HP and Sp.Def)*
- Encore
- Mirror Coat
- Counter
-Destiny Bond

I actually planned Perish Song then switch to Wobbuffet but thing didn't go so well.. And I also notice Wobbuffet is pretty useless here, exception for encore that let me predict the opponent's move.. I thought of replacing him with Torterra with Atk specialist.. Is this a good idea? Or any suggestion?

What is a good Double Battle Lead Kyogre to use under VGC '10 rules? I plan on using Kingdra as well.

I often see the combination of Ghost/Fighting cited as 'unresisted,' but what types does Ghost hit super-effectively that Dark doesn't?

Dark and Ghost hit the same types for super effective damage. (Ghost and Psychic).

Ghost/Fighting is better than Dark/Fighting because Heracross and Toxicroak are the only Pokemon that resist the latter combination.

Modest Kingdra in rain has enough power to OHKO nearly everything in rain without max special defense with a moveset of Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Dragon Pulse and HP Electric, and it will go first unless you are facing another swift swimmer who is faster or a fast scarfer.

What is better paired defencibly with Mantine, Golem or Steelix?

I think steelix since golem has 2 double weaknesses and less resistances.

Steelix double-resists Rock, whereas Golem only single resists. Steelix has more defense, covering Mantine's physical weakness. Both are immune to Electric.

Mantine resists or is immune to all of Steelix's weaknesses. Golem's weaknesses of Ice and Grass hit Mantine neutral.

Finally, due to its better stats and typing, Steelix is just generally a more dangerous Pokemon than Golem.

Steelix for sure.

Here's one for the UU Players. I am getting ready to breed a Tyrogue to make into a Hitmonlee. I can't decide between Adamant and Jolly nature. I have read through the Smogon sets, but I was looking for a second opinion as to what is most useful.

The biggest thing I want to know about is how Hitmonlee relates to the UU speed tiers. I know there are several pokes with base 95 speed, so a non Choice Hitmonlee might want to be Jolly to outspeed them (~216 EVs Jolly). If I decide to make Scarf Hitmonlee, I know that will be Adamant, but Choice Band is an interesting problem.

Any advice and the Nature/spreads you have used on Hitmonlee would be helpful, thanks.

I haven't played in new UU at all. But I looked into speed a bit just now since it was interesting. So.

Running Jolly instead of Adamant on Hitmonlee lets you outspeed neutral base 100s. If you take everything in the range 87-100 in UU and remove the things that seem to usually run positive natures and the things that you can't threaten anyway, you get:

Arcanine, Moltres, Porygon-Z

Porygon-Z takes a minimum of 87% from Mach Punch, so that's guaranteed with SR and has a chance to KO even without.

Adamant outspeeds all neutral natures from 76 up. So if you look at the Pokemon from 76 up who sometimes run positive natures, and only take the ones you can threaten, that's:

Blaziken, Drifblim, Venusaur (if you're running Blaze Kick)

So really, if you run the set I'm thinking (Close Combat, EQ, Stone Edge, Mach Punch), the things that switching to Adamant helps against are:

Arcanine, Moltres, Blaziken, Drifblim

I would ask you how weak the rest of your team is to these Pokemon. This should be not-so-difficult, since it's almost the same as asking if you cover the Fire type. If not, switch to Jolly. If so, I'd just keep Adamant. Although the ability to take out Modest Porygon-Z if you're caught on not Mach Punch could be helpful.

Thanks for the comments. I went through a similar process yesterday and determined that most things in UU between 273 and 300 speed do not need to be outsped by Hitmonlee, can be killed with Mach Punch, or Hitmonlee can not switch into safely anyway. I think what you wrote out here mostly agrees, I think I'll just try Adamant with Max Speed for now.

It would be easier if I already had a team for this Hitmonlee, but it is going on my HG/SS team so it's kind of hard to decide on something that will work there, but also be useful for an actual team down the road. Thanks again for the reply.

It's not even all that cute, LOL. And yeah, all it can do is KO walls... and maybe weakened, priority-deprived sweepers (with Quick Attack).

This. It works pretty well if both players are using the worst Pokemon in the game, lol.

And the dancing Trapinch thing is pretty cute.

So, I made a mistake whilst RNGing and ended up with a flawless Modest Eevee. What should I do with it? Any ideas? Obviously I can't give it egg moves or Hidden Powers other than Dark...

If it had egg moves I was gonna say Glaceon, but I'm not sure what you can do with no egg moves and Modest, sorry D:

I would go for Choice Specs/Scarf Espeon, I think a Modest version would still be effective whereas a Modest Jolteon is kinda mehhh in general.
