Where should I go to learn how commetitive battling works?
I've been working on this team and I got
Scizor
Arial Ace
X-Scissor
Iron Head
Roost/(maybe switching to Brick Break)
Gallade
Night Slash
Leaf Blade
Psycho Cut
Close Combat
Garchomp
Fire Fang
EQ
Stone Edge
Outrage
Haxzorous
X-Scissor
Brick Break
Outrage
EQ
Archeops
EQ
Acrobatics
Stone Edge
Dragon Claw
and
Chandelure
Flamethrower
Shadow Ball
Energy Ball
Psychic
I'm kinda working on EVS and I've been breeding my pokemon to have at least decent IVs and Trying to get 31s in atk for all but Chandelure, I was also thinking of switching one of my pokemon for an empoleon, Idk much about competitive battling though. I'll take whatever suggestions/praises/insults I can get thnx. I was also wondering if I should use a 9mm or shotgun when I kill myself cause I know this all sucks ass.
Does Infiltrator work through Protect (it is a form of barrier-type-thing)?
Does Shed Shell allow you to switch out damage free when the opponent uses Pursuit?
Hmm, I don't know, but what about Thunderbolt? If your lucky with accruassy, then you could go for Thunder and Fire Blast. Keep Confuse Ray, because...I don't know, but just keep it. Get rid of Safeguard, I think it's just a weak move. If you have it, instead give it a Lum Berry. Plus you could always go fer Psychic I think. Is this battle with just 1 (one) Nintails?
If both you AND your friend are going to use Ninetales, I'd see if you have Hidden Power Rock, Ground, or Water.
Run 68 Speed EVs on both to outspeed 24 Speed Skarmory and max Wobbuffett. The first spread spread should be 248 HP / 192 Def / 68 Spd and the second should be something like 184 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 68 Spd.
So, I would need some information on which tier would this team be located in (some people use tiers...)
and tell me if there are some useless moves in this team and tell me the recommended move to replace the useless move you said (they're not trained specially, I just care about leveling them up).
And one additional question...
If I were to receive a Machop with HP Dark 70 and I evolved it to Machamp, should I replace a move? If I should, which move should be replaced?
This is my move set for Machamp (it's just a plan for now):
Pokémon: Machamp
Gender: Male
Ability: No Guard
Held Item: Muscle Band
Nickname: Milo
Moveset: DynamicPunch (Fighting-type move), Earthquake (Ground-type move), Stone Edge (Rock-type move) and Bulk Up (Fighting-type move)
