Re: Most Annoying Song Ever?

"Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper.

Re: Most Annoying Song Ever?

Almost everything I hear on the radio by Nicki Minaj and Ke$ha.

Re: Most Annoying Song Ever?

Eh, I am not exactly going to be shocking with this comment because they are such easy targets, but I literally cannot stand anything made by Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber. At least other artists like Ke$ha, Rihanna, and Taylor Swift have a couple of songs that I enjoy to listen to. The first two? I hate their voices and their lyrics. They are annoying and terrible.

Re: Most Annoying Song Ever?

This song is just so annoying.

The newest song that is so annoying that I want to punch the radio every time I hear it.
Lorde - Royals (US Version)

I hated Blurred Lines before I knew what it was about as I hated the tune and it did sound r***y.
Now I know what it's about I despise that piece of crap.

Re: Most Annoying Song Ever?

The Joker by Steve Miller Band remains my most hated song. Almost any song that gets play on the radio by Steve Miller Band is terrible, actually. I can't comment on any of his other music because I had no interest in looking any further into it. lol

Modern pop has a really annoying aesthetic with its atrocious autotuning and generally being too electronic (maybe it'd be more fair to say "being too electronic in all of the wrong ways"). But if there's one song that has stuck out to me being more atrocious than others it is this:

A lot of our professors here will let us listen to music while we're working. Yesterday in class my design professor played the worst, most annoying country song I've ever heard. Upon doing some research, that song is All I Really Want To Do by Bob Dylan. I can't find the one we listened to in class, but it was AWFUL. The one I found on YouTube was a bit better and it wasn't country like the one we heard in class (apparently the original version was folk instead of country). But my gosh it was the most obnoxious song I ever heard. And it was so, damn long too. Ugh.

I'm really getting sick of hearing Dear Future Husband by Meghan Trainor. It's way too 50's.

I wasn't really fond of All of Me by John Legend or Take Me to Church by Hosier, but thankfully both of those aren't really played on the radio anymore.

Quite annoyed by Justin Bieber. Haven't heard too much of 1D, so can't comment on that.

Also, many J-Pop songs in general and AKB48 in particular are annoying. (Rica Matsumoto is a major exception, though, for obvious reasons.) And before people accuse me of being racist, my hometown is in Tokyo, and I like the older Showa-era enka-style music, even though i was born at the very end of the era. (Heisei-era is from'89, btw.)

Most songs by Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Lorde, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj are, as well as Uptown Funk. But here's one example that comes to mind.
