Possible spoiler. Concept art rumor.

Honestly I like all of these! I wouldn’t mind if these were real. My problem with a lot of the starters that fall into the humanoid category is that they either come off as too static (Delphox) or they have a small four legged animal become a HUGE LOOMING BIPEDAL FIGHTER (Emboar and Incineroar) I feel like these designs hit a nice middle ground between animalistic, cool, and bipedal without running into any of the above issues (at least on paper)
I think the Scorbunny evolution is my favorite for the ear visor alone but I really love Grookey’s too! Sobble’s evolution is my least favorite but it still has really cool features like the cape, the lance tail, and it’s head and crest being shaped like a knight’s helmet.

If there the Starter Final Evolutions guessing their types are shaman monkey(Grass/Psychic) speedster bunny rabbit(Fire/Electric) and wrestling lizard (Water/Ghost).

The Sobble evo looks quite good and I wouldn't mind it to be real.

Scorbunny's is similiar to what I was expecting but I think it should become a bit more taller with larger ears and overall more red.

Grookey's one looks fine but I want a gorilla starter Pokemon for god sake. The Ben Affleck leak also said Grookey becomes a gorilla so please let that happen.

I hope Grookey follows a theme similar to Delphox but fairy instead of psychic even though I'd be fine with that as well.

I personally view Fairy-type as as combination of glamour and nature; glamour is the cuteness and beauty used to deceive others in regards to their mischievous personas, while the latter comes from how they draw the mystical—sometimes borderline divine (the Tapus)—force of nature used to for their own purposes.

Glamour is also something commonly associated with the fair folk (another name for faeries), which not only why most Fairy-type Pokémon are cute or beautiful, but also why we get Pokémon like Snubull and Granbull thrown into the mix (they're deceptively cute). The best example of the glamour archetype associated with faeries in Pokémon would be Mawile; the front half of it's body looks cute (especially it's face), but this deceptive appearance hides a giant mouth that bring to mind a crocodile of some sort (which are apparently its antlers). Add the fact that Mawile's category is the "Deceiver Pokémon" and you've got yourself the perfect embodiment of fairy glamour!

I still believe or at the very least hope, Grookey become Grass/Electric. Being able to convert solar energy into electrical, essentially exciting electrons with it's drumming.

Edit: Oh my gosh I might not be far off!

"When elements collide electrons can be taken from low states of energy to higher states. This occurs because some of the kinetic energy between the two colliding atoms is transferred into the electron. In come very fast collisions an electron may be knocked free from its parent atom. This is called collision ionization. The electron is then able to be absorbed by other atoms. Ionic bonds, which form when electrons are transferred from one element to another, occur in the fashion."

"Collisional excitation is a process in which the kinetic energy of a collision partner is converted into the internal energy of a reactant species. "

I'm gonna put my guesses here so when the games come out I might get some credit. Based on the Affleck leak.
Grookey: Grass/Rock 40%, Grass Fighting 10% Grass Ground 15% Grass Normal 5% Pure grass 1% grass Electric 29%
Scorbunny: Fire fighting 50% Fire Electric 15% Fire Normal 5%, Pure fire 30%
Sobble: Water Ghost 65% Water Poison 15% Water Dragon 5% Water 15%

Grookey: Grass/Rock 85%, Grass Fighting 80% Grass Ground 63% Grass Normal 33% Pure grass 40% grass Electric 60%
Scorbunny: Fire fighting 75% Fire Electric 60% Fire Normal 5%, Pure fire 70%
Sobble: Water Ghost 95% Water Poison 70% Water Dragon 13% Water 20%

Probabilities actually have to add up to a hundred percent. So you're gonna have to reduce the numbers on some of them for it make sense.

Grookey's evo looks like something coming out of a mix between Planet of the Apes and Avatar. Hell no.
Generally, I don't like humanoid and this are simply the worst so I won't accept them until the final evos are revealed.

You know, someone online got me thinking. When I looked what Normal type represents, I've seen answers from just regular creatures, to neutrality, the non-element, but what caught my attention, was physical ability. Not like fighting type that use martial arts, we mean just raw regular physical prowess. Move like tackle, quick attack, even the move strength, all just really on physical ability. So with that in mind, I'm double sure Scorbunny will be Fire/Normal, cause his evolution will represent a person with pure physical ability, an athlete. Even the official website hints towards this.

"If Scorbunny is able to increase its heart rate and body temperature by running around and warming up properly, the true power of its fire energy will be awakened and its physical capabilities will greatly increase."

This doesn’t happen in organic compounds (wood) though, unless Grookey's getting a metal drum. Organic compounds form covalent bond chains extremely hard to break, not ionic bonds.

This becomes problematic when you notice that special normal type moves exist. Those moves are normal type probably because there is no elemental energy associated with it. Tackle, Quick Attack are probably not fighting because they’re meant to be early moves that give stab to the early normal type and teach the concept of neutral attacks to the player.

Highly specialised pure physical ability is more up fighting's alley. And that flavour text just says that Scorbunny needs to work out to increase its Fire energy. What else likes to work out to power up? Fighting types.

I don't think their types are clear till we see the middle evolutions. Adding normal with evolution of a starter is also weird since all its going to give Scorbunny is a weakness to fighting and a ghost immunity. The types of the fully evolved starters are usually dynamic.
