Team Flare Discussion/Speculation

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

How about a female mad scientist leading Team Nebula to combine the DNA of the most powerful pokemon in history.

A name like that is unlikely since we already had Team Galactic, and they already did something like that with Mewtwo and Genesect, but Mewtwo was a clone of another Pokemon, and Genesect was modified from an ancient creature, though combining the DNA of seveal Pokemon to create an unstoppable monster (that can easily be stopped by putting it in a ball) is something new at least though.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

I'd like to see two Evil Teams, and whilst we're all on the subject of genetics, I like the idea of an all-female team and an all-male team.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

I would also really like to see a female team leader, but I really hope they aren't dressed as vikings. Team Plasma was bad enough in BW with the whole knight outfits.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

since this seems to be based in Europe, I was thinking more along the lines of the Nazis.
Associating a German political party with France is not going to be done. Even by the Japanese.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

Yeah, the nazis will not be referenced. I can guarantee that.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

I don't think it'll be a battle of the sexes things since that invites controversy. I do think the villainous team will have something to do with genetics since that's a strong theme throughout pokemon. They probably used X and Y since not as many people would make the chromosome jump if they called it, say, pokemon 22 and pokemon 23.

Well, considering that France was one of the biggest battlefields in the European theatre of WWII... I'm not saying it'll be legitimate Nazis, but I think it could be something similar, but to a much less extreme level. Sorta the inverse of Plasma being PETA to a much more extreme level.

Not to mention we don't even know the full extent of the region. Yeah, France at least has to be in there, but I'm not convinced that other parts of Europe won't be included, what with the apparently Norse legendary Pokemon.

And I don't think such an issue would be TOO sensitive in Japan. Bad memories for a lot of people yes, but... Hetalia is a thing, and that pokes all sorts of fun at World War II, including Japan.

Team Algebra
Team Chronos
Team Alpha for Alphabet XD

Well the only other names for the team I could think of would be team helix or team genome. Niether of which sound as cool imo, but I can kind of see what your saying about the name.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

I see a lot of people saying Plasma looked like Knights? I felt Team Plasma was more like a conspiracy than a bunch of Knights lol.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

I think this could be something to do with the villain. In the trailer we see a statue of a trainer standing next to a Palpitoad, Eevee and a Golurk. It's mysterious at the moment, but, I believe it may have some relevance to the villain team/person.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

Based on what? That could be any kind of statue in the entire region. There is no reason to jump to conclusions that this totally innocent statue is evil.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

Bring Team Rocket back!!!!!

YEEEEEAAAAHHHH

maybe an evil hideout in a casino again?

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

Due to the introduction of a 3D world to Pokemon, I see X and Y as more pertaining to coordinate planes than sex chromosomes. So I'm gonna bet that Generation VI will pertain to dimensions. And the villainous team would be based upon battle of the dimensions or something.

Isn't that the female playable character?

Extremely unlikely that this is gonna happen. And besides, in Black and White 2, seeing Giovanni in the PWT seems to imply that he's done with team rocket and has moved on with his life.

I'm definitely expecting an evil team whose gimmick is genetics, since there is a DNA strand in the trailer.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

I'm wondering if that spacey looking place in the desert is a base?

I'd like to see a female team leader.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

Since Colress was a scientist trying to bring out the full potential of Pokemon, is it possible that he may make a return as an admin, then turn against the new team? After all, he was involved in the gene- splicing in B2W2, and he may be more directly involved in gene- splicing this time around, seeing as the new evil team may be genetically based.

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

Yeah, been wondering who the new evil team was going to be. I am hoping maybe they will bring back Team Galactic but that probably won't happen. Or maybe bring back Ghetsis... but that probably won't happen either. :-[

Re: Pokemon X and Y: Villain Team(s) Speculation

I'll like to see a Team named starts with an S. Why? Well simple.

Lets look at all the other Evil Team's name...
Rocket, Aqua, Magma, Galactic, and Plasma..
Take all the team names and take their first letters..
Rearrange them to...

G(alactic) R(ocket) A(qua) M(agma) P(lasma)

GRAMP

I firmly believe the evil team will be Team Splicer. GRAMP must be completed; even the Japanese fans know about it with that Team Sigma nonsense rumor!
