I sort of like the idea, since Solar power is a good concept. Could have been a Grass/Electric type, though…
I’m not too sold on the design, either, but that’s just an aesthetics thing.

Love that grassy goat. It's design is simple but good, and it's got a surprisingly diverse movepool, something that most Grass Mons tend to lack. It's abilities are kinda lacking, though. I remember using one in my first Y playthrough. Named him Spar after the Breath of Fire 2 character. He served me very well during that run. Overall, a very good and fun Mon.

My favorite design out of the Lycanroc forms! However, my one disappointment with it is that they didn’t bother to make its typing Rock/Dark; it looks even more suited for the Dark typing than Tyranitar does, and it would create more differentiation between the Lycanroc forms.

Froslass has a unique typing and a pretty nice design. Who would have thought that it would run a Choice Band physical set in the lower tiers in competitive play, and be viable there? chuckles

Meh. It threw off the balance of the “Hitmon” Pokémon, since it isn’t named after a famous martial artist.
I also don’t really like it’s design compared to the other two.

Heracross is pretty cool, it's based on the rhino beetle which is awesome too. Not a big fan of it's mega though.

Xatu actually has a pretty cool design, though the problem with many Flying-type’s 3D models having those dumb “gliding” idle poses did it kinda dirty.

I love Dartrix! While Rowlet is an adorable round baby owl, Dartrix pulls off the cute owl look with proportions closer to an adult owl, and looks even fancier with that plumage resembling a cool hairstyle. Definitely one of my favorite middle stage starters!

Speaking of, how about Dewott?

man, i'm not sure how i feel about zangoose. at one point i thought it was one of the coolest underrated pokemon, and then i kinda... semi-forgot it existed? like, i still think it's cool and all, but i don't like it as much as i used to. maybe because i just... dont bother putting it on my pokemon teams, anymore.
