The Chain Chomp-like tail may be cute and all, but honestly the beta concept of it being a truly half-and-half giraffe with an 'evil' half and its original typing of Normal/Dark were much more solid concepts. It's new evolution is also frankly pretty underwhelming, especially concerning other things that happened in Scarlet/Violet that I can't properly explain but show a lot more creativity. That all doesn't mean I dislike Girafarig and Farigiraf, though. They're quirky and fun, but I feel like either of them could've been more.

Donphan.

Donphan has always been one of my favorite Pokemon and Ground types. I really like elephants and elephantine creatures, and Donphan is one of the coolest. Such an awesome Pokemon.

The thing I hate in it is low HP. I don’t like the Onix line overall.

Speaking of one-stage evolutions, Dewgong?

Oddly I really like dewgong, though I don’t use it often because I like a different water type better, I still used it a bit and fell in love with the cool seel!

It's got a very interesting concept with its Zen Mode Ability and all; I really appreciate that. Besides that, OML it's such a beast when it comes to battling, and we love that for it.

It has a nice design, but its a Pokemon I could never get attached to. I tried using one in Brilliant Diamond, but I could never get attached to it.

I like that it's a water version of Diglett which is a very cute Pokemon but I don't like how thin it is (that's not to say it doesn't make sense considering what it's based on).

Both it and its evolution Aurorous are some of my favorite fossil Pokemon (and in my opinion, some of the best designed fossil Pokemon too.) I've always loved dinosaurs, especially sauropods, so Amaura is really cool. (I just wish they weren't so weak to absolutely everything. )

A very generic T - Rex design. A wasted opportunity in terms of Pokemon creation since it's a unique animal (it seems the Pokemon franchise does this with most unique and 'exotic' animals).

I LOVEEEEE CINCCINO; it's one of my favorite Normal types. And I absolutely adore how it's a decent threat in competitive battling too. We love to see that.
