Metagross can have 405 for attack with a perfect 31 IV, 252 EV points and a beneficial nature.

Hi,

I just got this Bulbasaur in a GTS trade, I can't see any way for it to be legitimate (it's in an Ultra Ball, if you can't make it out):

Yeah, that can't be legit. I don't believe any starter can be obtained in anything other than a regular PokéBall. They're either given to you or hatched; never caught.

I got this Bronzong in a trade and the IV calculator on Serebii was all like "Does not compute!" and since it was from the GTS, I thought it might be hacked.

Species: Bronzong
Nickname: (something japanese)
OT: (something japanese)
Met at: Mt. Coronet at lv. 18
Nature: Naive
Ball: Pokeball
Ribbons: Sinnoh Champ Ribbon
Move Set: Faint Attack, Hypnosis, Gyro Ball, Extrasensory
Stats: HP-221 Attack-184 Def.-201 Sp.Atk-170 Sp.Def.-180 Speed-124

Seeing that the Bronzong obviously wasn't caught with those stats, it must have been leveled up, gaining EV's in the process. Try using EV-reducing berries to get all EV's to 0 and try the calculator again.

Most likely it's legit, but do check for yourself.

What is it's current level and ability? It looks to me as if it was part of an in-game team and carefully trained. The EVs it has currently probably affected the calculator you were using. It checks out so far.

Oh ok cool. So it's just a very well trained Bronzong. That's cool. Oh, and It's lv. 80 with Levitate, so nothing out of the ordinary there, I'm guessing. Thank you!

@tm2-megatron: well what is its currrent level because you never can tell with those shifty little pseudo legendaries... a legit shiny beldum is REAAALY hard to come by because you either have to soft reset in gen 3. or chain in a sandstormy area. both of those take shiitloads of time and patience.

or you can RNG & get a shiny beldum in about 20 mins...
