Things you want to see done in Pokemon Gen 8 (2019)

I'm hopin for more mythical pokemon who's stat distribution is 100 all-round.

We most likely won't get pure Electric due to Zeraora, so hoping for Ice, Poison, Ghost, or even Fire type.

Hoopa-unbound is currently the only mythical pokemon who's bst 680, we could use more of that too.

What if G-max forms will be between 630 and 680?
____
I hope for a pokemon with ability to change form when sleeping and beeing able to battle. Can even type change. Hope for Wishi washi like stats.
And learning Rest or a move that would it allow to fall to sleep.
_
Matriosha doll pokemon could be breaking after hit. Loose always 1/8 of full hp. Would need to get hit 8 times. Multi hit moves, binding moves would be great. Ground/fairy or Steel/ghost?

_

A pokemon that would cause other pokemon to disobey their trainers via ability. Probably psychic.

A pokemon that would cause to cause the effects of moves and abilities of oponents to turn back on them by inflicting stats on them and reversing stats boosts into reductions instead.

Considering Dynamax hardly changes base stats, I highly doubt that Gigantamax will.

Yeah, and? Unless Dynamax Level changes stats, then Dynamax does not increase base stats aside from HP and I doubt that Gigantamax will either.

Both need to differ more then only looks and designs. Why then bother if Z-moves are stronger and megas last longer and have type and stats changes... The 3 turn limit and name Giganta should be more then Mega. Maybe thats why they want to wait with megas and z-moves bc they plan to test this new mechanic before adding new ones in sequel.

Because it's "different" and that makes it "new" and "exciting." And they also cut Z-moves and Megas from the game so you can't use them anyway, so there's no comparing them or choosing one over the other.

Plus Giganta only implies that it's bigger, not stronger.

In this game. But the Proffesor notes that the other regions and those mechanics still are there. She compares D and G-max and herself with the other researchers.

Makes me wonder if G-max is stronger between U-beast 570 and Hoopa unleashe 680 total stats. Because G-max moves dont have power shown only effects. Makes me wonder.

You can't use all three mechanics in the same game so you can't pit Dynamax/Gigantamax against Mega Evolution or Z-Moves, so how it compares to either of those mechanics simply doesn't matter because they're not available and they likely won't all ever be available in the same game for the sake of "balance." Instead of figuring out how all of their OP mechanics can play nice together, GameFreak has clearly just opted to cut old mechanics out of the game so they don't interfere with new ones.

Alola... Alola...Alola. There is no problem of technical nature. They will want us to buy next games too and then they will add them.

Alola, which lacked contests, the PSS, following Pokemon and some amie minigames, is not a shining example of all features being included.

Never stopped them from removing things before.

removing so important mechanics would be bad for fans and the games itself.

Doubt it. They're as likely to add Mega Evolution to the next games as they are to add the rest of the pokedex.

Why so negative? think positive. First Megas also didnt got type change only ability change.

Better question. Will it be possible in future to Dynamax or G-max a pokemon outside of Galar in other regions in some specific places?
G-max should for the certain species via band in my opinion.
D-max too theoretically but then via a "item" outside of Galar ofcourse.

I feel it will impact gen 4 remakes somehow especially the certain species thing.

That makes me wonder... if we will have a 6vs6 match will be allowed to only use once D or G-max?
Or every pokemon will be able to D max even if we use a G-max pokemon?
For me I think the Y band will collect energy and allow maybe like Z-moves first in this game only one pokemon will be able to transform during whole battle and in future maybe a second time for a other party member?

Remember that Dynamax/Gigantamax doesn't require an item. Expecting either to have the exact same perks as Mega Evolution is silly even if they only last three turns. Enough is enough.

They're likely to make a bigger difference than Z-moves at the very least.

Because they already said that not including every pokemon was going to be their policy going forward and they haven't backed off from that stance. I'm not being negative, I'm being pragmatic. And by "next games" I was assuming that you meant the Sword and Shield sequels/third versions or Sinnoh remakes, in which case- noooo I still do not believe that Mega Evolution will be in those because this Gen's thing is Dynamax.

Would be nice if they brought it back for Sinnoh, though, since Mega Evolution would be more practical to apply there than trying to convince everyone that they totally remodeled their stadiums to hop on board the Dynamax bandwagon.

You can only Dynamax or Gigantamax one pokemon per battle.

And Professor Rowan’s specialisation happens to be evolution...
So he’d be interested in something called Mega Evolution. I hope they don’t shove Dynamax down our throats in Sinnoh remakes.

Everyone agrees that it's bad. Doesn't stop it from happening.

Mega Ampharos was part of the first megas revealed, and it did have a type change. (This also doesn't really have anything to do with whether Game Freak would keep in Megas or old Pokemon...)

Oh yeah, I forgot to respond to this part- that statement is completely untrue. Six of the first wave of Megas received type changes.

Charizard, Fire/Flying -> Mega Charizard X, Fire/Dragon
Pinsir, Bug -> Mega Pinsir Bug/Flying
Gyarados, Water/Flying -> Mega Gyarados, Water/Dark
Mewtwo, Psychic -> Mega Mewtwo X, Psychic/Fighting
Ampharos, Electric -> Mega Ampharos, Electric/Dragon
Aggron, Steel/Rock -> Mega Aggron, Steel

And out of the second wave, only four received them, so the first megas actually received more type changes.
