The latter. I'd genuinely take 240p at 10fps if it was an amazing game. I have had way more than enough of ultra-HD graphics being prioritized over actually fun gameplay in the past 5-10 years.

undertale or deltarune

I was a huge Undertale fan back in 2015-16, and I love them both a lot, but I'm going to be honest and say Deltarune. Obviously a lot of your enjoyment of Deltarune directly relies on how much you enjoyed Undertale, but still — I like its soundtrack far more, its visual style and spritework are beautiful, even the story and its characters have felt more impactful so far IMO. You can feel the love and hard work being put into it and Chapter 2 has really solidified it as something special.
