What kinda concepts in fiction do you want a pokemon to refernce?

Alright, in the vein of the thread on future mythological inspirations. This is a topic towards what future Pokémon would you like to be a reference to other media (video games, anime, animation, film, literature, music, vtubers, etc)

Honestly, none. I'm fine with nods and references to other media, but having Pokémon be based upon fictional creatures from other franchises is a no for me. I'd rather have new Pokémon be based upon real world things, whether they draw inspiration from myths or actual plants, animals, etc. since, in my opinion, that is both more interesting and more creative/inspired than what seems to me is just borrowing ideas from a different franchise.

That being said, if I had to choose a fictional being to base a Pokémon off of, I'd probably go with a pigron from Terraria.
