What video games are you playing now?

In MH Generations, we've now bested Thunderlord Zinogre up to Lv.8 . Which was fun.

The arena battle? Boy that was tense with Gendrome on the side (we kept the camera focused on Thunderlord, the bigger threat), but at least once Gendrome was down we had a few minutes to face Thunderlord in peace. When the next one spawned, we decided to mostly ignore it and go for Thunderlord, and eventually won.

The hunt-a-thon? We took out two with relatively no problems, and could have taken down a third for sure in the time alloted if he didn't land a few lucky hits. Which I totally blocked. Nonetheless, two was all we needed so we went home with that.

The Lv.8 capture quest? The supply box was SUPER generous with the on-site items (seriously, max First-Aid Med+'s AND Rations?), even over the ones we did in MH4U. So trapping this guy wasn't a problem.

Upgrading the Thunderlord SnS to Lv.8 was a pain, though ... it hinged on having enough Zinogre Horn+ materials, which you get primarily by breaking both horns off a (standard) Zinogre. Which we did four times yet the Horn+'s just refused to drop. Grr.

As for Thunderlord's armor itself, apparently the skills are good but I just don't like the look of it.

Spiderman 2, the movie, the game on gamecube(It's the game.). My only problem is that whoever owned it before it got to the used game store had scratched it up really badly. That means the game is prone to erroring up as I play it.

Mine too! “I have to get to Dr. Connor’s class-class-class-class-class-class-class-class-class-class-class-class—” and then Spider-Man freezes in the air.

Pokémon Ultra Sun

I had an awesome battle with my younger brother the other day, and also got a Clauncher through trading with him. Plus, I’ve bred an egg that will hatch into a Luxury Ball Deino with the Modest nature, and will someday be a glorious Hydreigon. On top of that, while trying for shiny Stunfisk in Ultra Space I found myself encountering Raikou, and I am currently resetting to try and catch it in my Moon Ball while also leveling up Nala (now a Cosmoem), Trapinch, Pawniard, Primarina, Vanillish, and Dialga. It’s a frustrating process but I don’t intend to give up.

Now that I’m back home, I’m getting back into Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. I just finished Act 2 and watched the mission briefing for Act 3. So... why has Naomi switched accents? Was she just going through an English phase on Shadow Moses, like that time Snoop Dogg pretended to be Jamaican? Also, why is her shirt open all the time? These are the tiny things you speculate about when you’re a Metal Gear fan.

Why is Naomis shirt open? Because fan service or something. Switching accents? Well Twin Snakes didn't have Mei-lings or Naomis accents either but that didn't change much of the game.

I was unaware of Mei Ling and Naomi not having accents in Twin Snakes, interesting. I wonder why Naomi in particular had an accent in the original, then, if she’s supposed to be American the whole time (it would make more sense for her to be American anyway). I am ashamed of my words and deeds, Kojima, I’ll never question you again

Again, I dunno. I did manage to play MGS 2, MGS 3 and MGS 5. I gotta say, I do like the gameplay in the Metal gear series.

Now going back to Octopath Traveler I completed Cyrus', Tressa's, Olberic's, and Primrose's chapter 3's respectively, now I'm just grinding some more before I move on again. Also going back to Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call on the 3DS, cause I'm still really addicted to this game lol.

Preparing for our showdown with Thunderlord Zinogre (Lv.10) in MH Generations.

Already had one go at it, and the secondary Bulldrome is proving to be FAR more annoying than the Gendrome was back in Thunderlord's Lv.6 arena quest. At least the Supply box is better stocked this time, but...

In the meantime, we started hunting some Drilltusk Tetstucabra, and sending the cat out for more general gathering quests Y'know, the usual grinds.

Space Empires V: The I-Series invasion freighters are heading into position, so ahead of that I'm moving up Battlefleet Green to the Galgamis-Quikil warp. HMS Grotrian may have to go on ahead in order that the planetstrikes happen as close together as possible - unfortunately Battlefleet Green (Siege) will need to clear the way for HMS Pazuzu, and Brannigan will need the Dexter fleet in escort.

Good fiscal policy has kept me in the black this turn, with a moderate amount of radioactives coming into the treasury. I've brought Rhiannon into service and decided to keep going with Economics research, just in case, but I'm projecting that next turn I'll be able to order a new battlegroup. Ideally I want to be able to press ahead onto Cribit as soon as possible

Octopath Traveler, still leveling up my party on the first file. Went ahead and started a second file for Therion, Ophilia, Alfyn, and H'aanit and grinded a bit on that save file too.

As for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call just playing some of my favorite music and changing around my party every once in a while. Already completed everything for it so nothing new to accomplish, just good old music fun.

Finally dug up a Worn C.Blade in MH Generations (upgradable into a Teostra CB). Then I needed to go farm "Monster Broth", so I sent the cats out on a bug-slaying quest. Oh, and we took down a random Deviljho that wandered into the area halfway through. We weren't exactly equipped for it, but the cats are fairly high level.

WarioWare Gold (3DS) - Beat all of story mode today after just getting the game yesterday. I don't mind how short it was though, I knew exactly what I was getting into when I bought it. I'll probably continue unlocking the other microgames, reaching high scores, and collecting things until I move onto the next thing.

Octopath Traveler (Switch) - Haven't played this much lately due to how busy I've been. I'm really far behind though, and am only just getting ready to tackle the second chapters. Currently grinding for levels and JP to get my team ready for them. Wish I could change my team leader to keep things more even...
