The DPPt one. In typical Sinnoh fashion, that bassline goes hard. (The Kanto Gym Leader theme from GSC is a really close second just for its intro alone.)
Gourgeist, it's eerie, surprisingly cute for a fully evolved mon, and it's cool that it comes in various sizes, like actual pumpkins and gourds. A super underrated mon imo.
The Loyal Three! they tie into the plot & themes well along with having unique designs between the three of them
favourite gen 1-3 mon that still has a unique type combo?
Pallet Town is pretty obviously my favorite, hence why it's set as my location on my profile... my second favorite is Castelia City, just because it's based on where I actually live and that never gets old to me.
If we're not counting the official anime stuff, I'm gonna say the Pokemon Generations episode: The Investigation. The postgame of XY and it's characters and lore is a highlight of the game and seeing it being presented in animated form is too cool. Plus Espurr gets extra focus here not before being punted by Emma : (
Toedscool and Toedscruel. Both of them are sill little fun guys and they are probably a reference to the Ramblin' Evil Mushrooms from Earthbound. I consider them a big highlight of Paldea and they remain among my top favorites among Paldea's bestiary.
So many, but the first ones that come to mind right now are "Gotta Catch Ya Later!" and "Showdown at the Po-ké Corral". The former being a perfect finale for the best series, and the latter just being a fun character-driven episode that I love very much.
Grovyle. Yeah, I really like a few different middle stage starters, Charmeleon, Bayleef, etc., but none are quite as awesome, as cool, or as simply badass as Grovyle. Simply put, Grovyle just exudes coolness. (Yes, I played PMD 2, and yes, that has something to do with how I feel about Grovyle, no doubt.)
