Wi-Fi Battle Coordination Thread

Good battle, but I didn't know that we were allowing ubers in that battle or I would have brought mewtwo.
 
Ummm, who had ubers? Neither of us were using any. BTW, anyone else who wants to battle let me know.
 
Oh, that may be it. Marine, Jirachi isn't an uber, it's in the same tier as TTar and the like. Here are the tiers and which pokemon fall under them, so there is no more confusion.
 
I did think jirach was... isn't he? Sorry, I'm very good with remember what is.

There will be now that Shoddy's Deoxys-E Tournament is completed. It's in the process of being un-uberfied.

Also for people who don't know, Deoxys-E is the speed form of Deoxys. Now they should test Deoxys-L to see if it is worthy to be an uber. Tyranitar still has many counters that work so I doubt it will be uberfied.


And Porygon2 totally deserves a placing within the tier seeing as it is a defensive Pokemon who can be made to wall Gyarados and a few others, thanks to it's Trace ability, while Porygon-Z is the total opposite, an offensive Pokemon.

Having incredibly high stats is not what uberfies a Pokemon, it's whether they overcentralise the game or not. Blissey has plenty of counters, and sure one would argue that Blissey is hindering the special sweepers by being allowed int he standard metagame, bu really, the fact that people resort to Blissey should show how powerful special sweepers can be.

And it's not like Nasty plotters, all special Infernape and Lucarios don't already outstall or 2HKO Blissey.

1. Ubers:
Ubers are those Pokémon the stats of which are way too powerful when compared to the ones of normal Pokémon. Usually, Ubers have excellent movepools as well as not so important weaknesses. Ubers are only allowed in Uber battles and you should avoid using them in standard ones.

Although Ho-Oh and Rayquaza have a 4x weakness to Rock and Ice respectively, they are classified as Ubers due to their huge stats and quite vast movepools. Latias and Latios are classified as Ubers regardless of them holding the item Soul Dew. Wobbuffet is an Uber due to its trait, Shadow Tag, its huge HP stat and its ability to learn Counter, Mirror Coat and Encore, all in one.

Yeah, unbanning Deoxys-E is a pretty scary concept, seeing as despite having mediocre defenses, it has so much possibilities, including a Pressure-stall set:

Stalled even longer than I thought.

The point of this was to show that Deoxys pressure stalled his 6x CM'd Spiritomb to force a switch. It also stalls a Raikou, Breloom, and Dragonite, and could've won the rest of the battle if it weren't for the crits.

Pretty scary, as it's fast enough to Taunt any Taunters. Also, if Deoxys-E stays in OU, I expect a decrease of Scarfers and an increase in entry hazards, indirect damage, and Trick Room.[/totallyofftopic]

On-topic: I'll be looking for battles later. I'll edit this post when I want a battle.
