generation 1 - DRAGONITE!!! (though i can't ignore lapras, arcanine, jolteon, snorlax)
generation 2 - don't have a single favourite - typhlosion, espeon, houndoom, skarmory, tyranitar
generation 3 - gardevoir no. 1, second metagross (taking note of salamence, sceptile, slaking, flygon, milotic, absol, groudon, rayquaza)
generation 4 - INFERNAPE!!! also - torterra, empoleon, staraptor, luxray, roserade, garchomp, lucario, magnezone, rhyperior, electivire, magmortar, togekiss, porygon z, gallade, dusknoir, dialga, palkia, heatran, regigigas, giratina, shaymin (sky forme), darkrai, arceus.

clearly i think that gen. 4 is the best. i know i choose way too many favourites, i don't care >

Dragonair
Legendary: mew

2nd generation:
Cyndaquil
Legendary: celebi

3rd generation:
Torchic, espeon
Legendary, jirachi, kyogre

4rd generation:
Glaceon
Legendary: Arceus,manaphy

But, my favorite of all region is: eeveelution

Gen II: Ampharos, Heracross, Togetic, Chikorita, Azumarill.
Gen III: Jirachi, Cacnea, Mudkip, Torchic, Altaria.
Gen IV: Togekiss, Piplup, Shaymin (Land), Lickilicky, Tangrowth.

Gen 1: Arcanine (Woho, surprise? ), Charizard, Lapras, Eeveefamily, Articuno, Dragonite and Kabutops.
Gen 2: Umbreon, Espeon, Chikorita, Misdreavus, Murkrow, Heracross, Hitmontop, and Celebi
Gen 3: Sceptile, Masquerain, Flygon and Jirachi.
Gen 4: Mismagius, Honchkrow, Leafeon, Glaceon, Riolu, Weavile, Magnezone, Gallade and Froslass.

I have way too many favorites.

I --> Virtually All of them of them really, but I guess Nidoking and Electabuzz are my top favourites.

II --> Heracross, Kingdra
III --> Dusclops all the way!! Slaking is a close second.
IV --> Magnezone, maybe Togekiss.
