I would recommend against claiming today. We have no idea the power of the scum team.

Also, gonna give my thoughts on the claiming restriction. With us only being allowed one claim gambits become essentially null and void and I will not be doing any role-related gambits this game. If we have no reason to gambit with our roles, we are always going to tell the truth as town when we claim. Imo, fake claiming as town is just flat bad play here. While you could soft your real role, softs are open to interpretation and thus are unreliable.

TL;DR: Fake claiming bad this game especially as town, wait until you have reliable results or it is absolutely necessary that you claim.

It was just too unconventional/ bastard (having unfair/ hidden mechanics) that some people got a bit frustrated about it

one hard claim regarding your role, yes. not character. you can claim as much as you want in said hard claim, and you can fake claim as well, but just once per person. and yes, as many people can claim per phase as yous want.
