well, it's official: I now have more messages than there are currently existing Pokémon (905, not counting SV starters). I can no longer measure my milestones in Pokédex numbers...
now that it's actually April 1st in my timezone...
Happy 25th anniversary to the Pokémon anime! EP001 first aired on April 1, 1997.
Thanks for the good times, and even for some of the slightly-less-good times — and I say this without a shred of irony, thanks for making my life better.
Hi there, @Orchid! You may have seen my name around the forums lately, even if we haven’t really talked directly. I know that today’s your “Bulbaversary” and that a lot of things have been happening with you over the past few days, including your recent ascension to modhood (congratulations, haha!). Seeing the latter doesn’t really surprise me, I’ll admit, because based on what I’ve read from you, you’ve always come across to me as an extraordinarily kindhearted person who tries to spread positivity wherever they go and whenever they can. I can feel that spirit in the posts that you make, especially to those who are going through “stuff”, as I call it. And the fact that you make an effort to do this even when you seem to be going through some of your own “stuff” in real life is nothing short of remarkable, especially for someone at your age where you’re presumably still figuring a lot of things out (which can be hard even for those of us who are older).
So with all of that said, and as a Bulbaversary “gift” of sorts: have a follow from me as a token of my appreciation for your presence here on the forums. And who knows, since you’re a mod now, maybe we’ll wind up crossing paths more often, haha. In any case, I hope that you’ve been enjoying your time here at Bulbagarden thus far and I hope to see you around both in the near future and for many other Bulbaversaries to come!
