I've played Devil Advocate for many years now, but with the letter you receive along with Ash's Greninja just makes it way too obvious to be just a little nod
So the Greninja we get in the demo is literally Ash's Greninja (OT is Ash)... not sure what that says about it's eventual return, but it sure seems like it's a goner
Because it's the same with Ash sticking with Noivern despite the fact we'll never know how good it was considering it's best battle ended in a tie...
Why does Goodra have to be a tank though? Bide was fine initially, but when it starts failing constantly it's time to move on to a different...
So tying with a Slurpluff that lost to every opponent it fought is an accomplishment? You could blame an awful moveset for Goodra, but Ash's other Pokemon have won despite major disadvantages in the past. Bisharp was even worst because if it was capable of movement, it probably avoids Guillotine
The question is why do we want Goodra back? It's the weakest Pseudo Pokemon we've ever seen on this show... at least Iris's Dragonite had some epic battles that actually involved it doing something, Goodra's whole gimmick was tanking hits for Bide. I don't think Goodra ever moved once in battles...
Summaries have never miss lead us in the past... why would they now all of a sudden? There's no benefit from proclaiming Greninja's gonna leave only to not have it leave, only for it to almost never been seen again anyway you slice it
I find it so amazingly cold-hearted that they have officially named it Ash-Greninja in the games and it's ability Battle Bond can only be used once knocking an opponent out (despite in the show it only did this in Alain's battle as to not reveal it's full strength). I mean, nothing says having a...
Those are two different scenario's though... Charizard was very much still Ash's Pokemon as he still had his Pokeball, Lapras on the other hand wasn't Ash's Pokemon at all anymore and showed up for a filler episode because why not.
How does that make any sense? Greninja was left in some random forest with no one around... if he's truly getting released, the only time we'll see him if ever is a flashback cameo
Apparently Ash must have done something horribly wrong before the Pokemon League, it's been all downhill for him it seems... Lost the League, shared hero honors, losing his friends (that's normal though), and now saying goodbye to his only Fully Evolved Water starter... damn son
Yes and no...
Whether or not this is just bait, it doesn't change a thing that Greninja is not going to Alola with Ash, so that's a guarantee. The fact we still haven't seen Ash-Greninja or anything close to it in Sun and Moon almost suggests it going to lose the form here... there's just no reason to keep...
If the title was Farewell Satoshi-Gekkouga? Xerosicy's Counterattack!! I might very well be skeptical... as it is right now though, nothing seems to indicate the power will stay
