Capture the Shiny Victini! V1 - Fleeting Victory

Status
Not open for further replies.
Overheat missed. The Disguise Pokemon managed to dodge the onslaught of fire rather effortlessly.

"Nice. Good to have some more speed on the team, especially after Chula's mediocre performance." I say, still not too happy that Chula had only managed to poison the Ninetales before fainting. "Ah well, that cute little green blob will redeem himself later. Anyways, finish it off with Shadow Ball." Rushing towards Torkoal, Ragtria charges a pulsating orb of shadow that quickly grows in size. As she launches it from around six feet away, I hope the projectile's previously established homing capabilities will be enough to ensure Torkoal faints.

OOC:

okay, noted

shiny victini should be back in sinnoh soon enough...though the next few posts regarding starmie and whispul will be interesting, to say the least. I'd gladly write the first one now, but alas, I'm rather tired and could use some sleep before writing another long post. Ah well.

after this battle, starmie's shenanigans, and the trip to s.s. libra are wrapped up, I guess we'll be moving on to the next arc. I think that'll be interesting.

My Torkoal, unfortunately, didn't handle the Shadow Ball, and it tried to stand up until it faints. "Damn it!", I almost screamed at the stadium as I recalled the Coal Pokemon back to its Poke Ball, and I reached for my final Pokemon. "I'm putting all my hopes on you... Gardie.", I muttered, and I threw the Poke Ball out to reveal a Shiny Gardevoir. It is a unique Pokemon on my team because one, it's not a Fire-type, two, it's a Shiny, and three, it has a nickname compared to my other Pokemon. The only thing that makes it part of my team is it has a burning passion for Pokemon battles, too. I prepared to do a Mega Evolution to gain an advantage, and I thought of a strategy. "Gardie, Shadow Ball!", I ordered to my Pokemon as I prepare my strategy on the Mega Evolution.

Shadow Ball, thanks to those minor homing capabilities, managed to hit Mimikyu. The neck of her disguise breaks, and she seems angry...although she took no damage herself.

"Ragtria...you might have to take a hit. I'm not going to risk missing against that thing." I comment. "Hone Claws. Now." Taking a few moments to concentrate and sharpen her claws, Ragtria worries slightly about what Gardie will do, although she has more than enough bulk to take any one attack it might throw at her. Her natural power and speed combined with Hone Claw's +1 attack and +1 accuracy means her next Shadow Claw is guaranteed to hit, and it's guaranteed to OHKO.

"What now, Blaze? What will your last move be before your Gardevoir is skewered alive?" I ask

"So...about that Niheligo, Lusamine?" grins Plumeria

We arrive at the black metallic tower WHISPUL was escorting me to. It looks like a sort of tower I would see see in a large city...through still rather run down.

"We're here..." whispers WHISPUL, as she dials some sort of code to get into the building. WHISPUL walks in the dark location as I levitate behind her.

"Psst...hey, buddy. Mind zappin' this for me? Can ya do that?" asks WHISPUL, motioning to what appears to be some sort of MECHANICAL_LIFT in the center of the ground level. Not bothering to scan the device, I discharge some electricity into the control panel, using a mild form of THUNDER. The lift seems to activate with a mechanical moaning noise, as electrical energy is restored to it.

"Hey, nice job. I think boss will like you..." whispers WHISPUL. "See, otherwise, we gotta take the stairs...that's annoyin'...."

"Hush, impatient sea star..." WHISPUL ignores me as she presses a button of the lift, opening the door. "Kekeke...just meet him for yourself..."

The lift makes a lot of noise, and worried, I decide to scan it after all.

I telepathically contact WHISPUL again.

> WE ARE CURRENTLY RIDING A DEVICE THAT BROKE DOWN AGES AND AGES AGO
> THIS IS NOT SAFE
> NOT SAFE AT ALL PINK_STAR

"Shut up! Get out of my head, I'm trying to FIX this damn thing!" yells WHISPUL as she bangs on the device on the wall, as we're apparently stuck. My sensors pick up a loud metallic grinding sound and what appears to be an electrical device somewhere exploding. "Kekeke...that's the trick, see?"

Finally arriving at our destination, I hover behind WHISPUL as she exits the lift. The metallic doors appear to close behind us. I hover forward to see a room with what looks like a few PC_SYSTEMS scattered about, or at least devices of similar nature. There are many windows, and it's lit only by a few flickering overhead lights. Random pouches and metal containers are scattered everywhere. Sitting at a rather fancy looking desk is an insect-like creature, and nearby, what looks like a pink GRASS-TYPE is drinking some sort of fruit drink. Scanning...

"Umm..." mumbles WHISPUL.

"Buddy, I told you not to do your weird scanning thing here!" yells WHISPUL.

"Quiet, Whispul. I don't care. If that robot star wants to scan me, let it." replies the BUG-TYPE I have dubbed PUFFWING. "Hmm. What's this you dragged in today without notifying me, Whispul?"

"Oh...um, uh, sorry, Suria. I found this Starmie here on the docks, and I brought it in. There a problem?" responds WHISPUL. "It...it also has a question..."

"Nah, but...with all the weird sort around lately, I am nervous of new Pokemon. Keep not being a complete idiot." responds SURIA. "What you need, Starmie?"

I telepathically message all three of the Pokemon at once.
> FIRSTLY
> PLEASE IDENTIFY YOURSELF SURIA
> TOWNSFOLK SEEM WARY OF YOUR UNDERLINGS
"I'm not an underling..." murmurs an upset WHISPUL.

"I'm Suria, just some Ribombee who happens to hold a lot of power here. Not...not that I really want you getting the details of it all, but...I do help out the mayor sometimes." he responds. "If the other Pokemon don't like Whispul, it has nothing to do with me. That unreliable little rabbit acts out of line and disobeys my orders all the time."

"Hey, hey! I am not a rabbit, nor do I disobey your orders! Well, not...not that often, at least..." Shouts WHISPUL. "Um...I don't even work for you, I just happen to like you enough to....to keep hanging out with you."
> THIS TOWN IS MADE UP OF POKEMON THAT GOT LOST THROUGH THOSE DIMENSIONAL_WORMHOLES
> CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS?

"Look, I, uh...hey, this isn't the time. Me and Kasib here are very busy. But I might as well explain something I could use a hand with, since you're here..." responds SURIA, who seems slightly annoyed.

"Hello yello. ♪" responds the pink plant who is presumably titled KASIB, looking happily at me and WHISPUL.

"Kasib isn't able to go on this mission due to her inconvenient typing, and she's the only Pokemon here right now. But now you're here! Wonderful timing. Care to help me, Whispul?" says an excited looking SURIA.

"Uh...boss, I...okay, sure." murmurs WHISPUL. "But first, buddy, ask your question about the Victini bit..."

> OH YES
> OF COURSE
> THE SHINY _VICTINI THAT MASTER_NAYA HAD ORDERED I MONITOR
> DO YOU KNOW WHERE ITS COORDINATES MIGHT BE?
"A shiny Victini? Shiny like Kasib over here?" Asks SURIA as he motions to KASIB, who squeaks in glee before going back to drinking her fruit drink. "An alternate color palette Victini...actually, I have heard of something like that around here. It left some time ago, around the same time that...oh, fuck. Look, let me get on with my request, this all ties together." SURIA flies up from his desk and floats in front of me and WHISPUL.

"That damn ice-type Ninetales...she occasionally comes around Nowhere Town randomly for who knows what, that blasted fox. You saw her today, Whispul?" asks a rather serious looking SURIA.

"Hmm? Oh, uh...that's right. Well...I detected something in the dark areas of town with my echolocation. I couldn't tell what it was, so I walked closer....that icy jerk ran off as soon as she was spotted..." whispers WHISPUL. "Um...don't tell me you want me to...oh, no..."

"That's right, Whispul. You and your much-stronger-than-you accomplice go see what she's up to. She was reported to have left town a while ago, she's probably back by the main cave entrance again." SURIA says, as he turns to me. "See, Starmie, Whispul's too weak to handle this herself. She's not the weakest townie here, but...eh." WHISPUL seems distressed as she forms a sweatdrop on her head, looking away and murmuring something inaudible to herself, my audio detectors not quite able to pick up what she said. "With any luck - and I have a lot of that - Victini will be there too, and bam! Two birds with one Stone Edge."
> YOU'RE SENDING ME ON AN ICE_NINETALES HUNT WITH HER?
"Not a hunt. Only go on the offensive if she tries to freeze you. Or Moonblast you. Or inflict you with some insane status condition. Or ambush you. Or secretly push Whispul off a cliff. Or--"

"Psst...hush up...." whispers WHISPUL. "I'm nervous enough, boss. What's the point of this, is she even, uh, doin' anything?"

"Whispul, you talk as if you don't know what she's done herself. Come on! She's known to be behind at least half of the recent kidnappings." responds SURIA. "Look, just...go already. It's not common that she ever comes around here, and it's urgent you check it out. Whispul, she knows the way, she'll escort you even if she doesn't really want to."

"Psst...whatever, boss...let's go, buddy." WHISPUL pokes me as she walks into the lift, me following.
> DO YOU REALLY THINK THIS PATH WILL FINALLY LEAD US TO THE WHERABOUTS OF THE SHINY_VICTINI?
"Buddy...I don't know. I don't know, buddy. Suria's a jerk..." whispers WHISPUL. "Psst...we ain't just goin' closer to the fox...we're going closer to the...surface..."
> WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE SURFACE OF THIS PLANET?
> IS IT UNINHABITABLE?
"In a sense. Let's just hope you don't have to find out why...." she murmurs as the lift moves down to the ground floor, my audio sensors picking up quite a lot of noise from it. Hitting ground level, WHISPUL exits the building as I hover behind her. Moving in the opposite direction we arrived in, we soon are outside NOWHERE_TOWN once again.

After navigating forward in the dark cave with WHISPUL for around 18 minutes, I can detect our elevation increasing, and the tempature of the surrounding air decreasing. I am not bothered, but the pink creature in front of me starts shivering a bit.

"Psst...temperature isn't the problem..." she whispers ominously as she stops walking momentarily. She's looking forward at a ray of white light shining through a hole in the cave roof. Briefly stepping under the light, she whispers something inaudible to herself again, before shaking her head in disturbance and proceeding forward.

"If I don't manage to do a Mega Evolution, I'm dead!", I almost lost confidence from the Mimikyu. Thinking of a strategy, I ordered Gardie to use Hypnosis. I pretty much managed to put Ragtria to sleep, and to do some decent damage, I shouted at my Pokemon, "Use Dream Eater!". If the attack manages to work, I can go straight ahead to Mega Evolve my Shiny Gardevoir.

"Nihilego? Sorry, I can't give you. Mine got left behind in Ultra Space when I was uhhh, a lunatic. If I still had it, I'd never choose to give it to you because you might be poisoned by it.", Lusamine responded to Plumeria's question. "Can we change our bet?", she continued.

...

Kate and Larry woke up to find themselves in some laboratory. "What the hell is this place?", Larry exclaimed. "I don't know, but this one seems familiar...", Kate responded. Suddenly, a higher-up from KO Industries appeared in front of them, and said loudly, "Welcome!". "WOAH!", the two screamed in surprise. "Oh, sorry, sorry. Have a seat.", the admin calmed the two down.

I look at the cute, sleeping Mimikyu just as Sunny Day finally ends, the stadium becoming pleasantly less bright. Ragtria, as if sleepwalking, consumes the Lum Berry she was holding. Jolting awake almost instantly, Ragtria looks around for a moment before looking at Gardie. Darting towards her, the Gardevoir shrieks as Mimikyu cuts it up with the unavoidable Shadow Claw.

"Heh. Lum Berries sure are more useful than Pecha Berries. Disguise doesn't protect against status, so I thought it would be a useful item." I say, as Gardevoir falls to the ground. Ragtria giggles in delight at the fainted opponent, as I return her to the Luxury Ball I had caught her in. "Looks like victory is mine this time. Oh well. Good game, or something...you did better than I thought you would" I start walking towards the elevator down. "Ah, but before I pick up my first place prize...I should tell you not to mess with that company. I know you tried to cheat this time, with those little somethings, but I don't trust that stuff. And you shouldn't, either. Nor should you mess with me. Get in the way of my plans, or try to cheat in battle with me again, and I'll drop you and your team harder than you can ever imagine." Waving him goodbye, I step in the elevator. He'll have his chance to talk to me again in the lobby, if he wants.

I walk out the elevator and am immediately tackled by Spire, who is now wearing a sky blue hoodless sweatshirt with an Inkay logo and vibrant Japanese text on the back of it.

"You did it! You totally beat that guy!" beams Spire. "You're great! I don't know why you're giving away my food without asking me, but I don't care, because I'm excited."

"Uh...thanks, Spire." I comment

"Go pick up your prize! The only thing I got was 3,000 Pokedollars as some sort of consultation prize...but I'm sure you'll get lots, Nayami!" she says

I look around for Eden and Gate, but first decide to pick up my prize from the receptionist. After healing my Pokemon, she gives me a smile and congratulations for winning. I'm handed a fancy white metal box that I immediately open. Presumably, not every winner gets the same prize....I wonder what I got...

Inside the box is--

"Ooo, Naya! What did you get?" beams Spire, who is looking over my shoulder

"Err...back up. Let's see here..." I take out the contents of the box to reveal 50,000 Pokedollars, a TM for Nightmare...some Berry Pots...and a Dowsing Machine. "Wow, a lot of good stuff. Thank Arceus hammerspace exists to carry it all."

"Haha, that version of TM 50 is rare. And so fitting for a Hex Maniac like you!" beams Spire. I blush a little.

I start looking around for Eden, Gate and the others. After everyone picks up their prizes, we can depart whenever we're all ready to.

--------

"Hehe...what did I tell you?" responds Plumeria, grinning briefly, happy she won her bet. "And drat. Hmm...you got any cool Aether tech I could have?"

OOC:

incidentally, I was already debating between lum berry and spell tag as ragtria's item. Fun battle, junpei. Maybe they'll have a rematch eventually, hehe.

After seeing the battle between Naya and Blaze end, Max exits the lounge, heading towards the reception desk.
Upon arriving there, the receptionist hands him a white box.
When he sits down, he opens the box, seeing 50,000 Pokedollars, a TM for Iron Tail, a Seal Case with 6 Ball Capsules inside and a brand new-looking Vs. Seeker.
"Awesome..." he mutters, as he looks at the Vs. Seeker from every angle, before putting it back into the box and exiting the tower.

"Shit... but still, good game.", I mutter as I left the stadium with mixed feelings, with Nayami's words bouncing in my mind.
"Ah, but before I pick up my first place prize...I should tell you not to mess with that company. I know you tried to cheat this time, with those little somethings, but I don't trust that stuff. And you shouldn't, either. Nor should you mess with me. Get in the way of my plans, or try to cheat in battle with me again, and I'll drop you and your team harder than you can ever imagine."
"Phew. A nice battle, it seems. I hope I can battle her someday again." I said. I walked into the elevator to go to the reception desk, and the person at the desk healed my Pokemon and gave me a box of consolation prizes which I quickly opened. "Hmm... 3,000 Pokedollars, and a pin with 'Realgam Tournament 2017' in it. Nice.", I thought. I approached Naya, and then I shaked her hands and said, "Congratulations. I didn't expect that we both are really skilled.".

"I lost the bet this time, so I'll give you some stuff.", Lusamine said, and she reached out her pockets to hand over what she got. "Here. 10 Beast Balls to catch the Ultra Beasts especially the Nihilego you wanted, and a shiny Type: Null. We still have a spare few of that Pokemon Gladion had.", the Aether President just shrugged as she lost the bet.

Naya nearly gasped as she felt someone's finger tapping her in the shoulder just a few seconds after she shook hands with Blaze; it was Eden themself, who was in a jovial mood upon seeing Nayami won. "Congratulations Nayami! You did fantastic out 'ere!!" Like Naya, Eden too was holding a nice looking white box; Eden then briefly peeks at the contents of Naya's box. "Ooh! Those look really nice! Hey, let's see what I got!" Eden quickly unlocks their box open, revealing 50,000 ₱, TM19 for Seismic Toss, GB Sounds, and a Pokeblock Case. "Ooh! Interestin' stuff!"

"Ah, yeah. I mean, with people like Miko out there, it's hard to tell who's good and who's a n00b." I comment after shaking Blaze's hand. "Maybe we can battle again eventually. I can't say no to extra prize money, after all."

I'm surprised to find myself being tapped on the shoulder, turning around to see Eden.

"Thanks, Eden. Glad to see that at least you and me could win first place." I comment. "GB Sounds? How fun."

"I have a GB Sounds back at ONBS! It's so relaxing." beams Spire. "Anyways...where are the others? We should get going soon. Me and Naya here are gonna get that vehicle from Pyrite Cave real quick, with hopefully no interruptions from any suspicious men this time...and then we can be off to S.S Libra! I'm so excited."

"Wait, you're coming with me?" I ask

"Yeah, I've been in that cave lots since you were last in Pyrite. It's not really so bad!" Spire tries to be positive about the place, but I can tell it still makes her slightly nervous.

"So... Eden is your name, right?", I asked the kid who won in another group. "Congratulations. You're some awesome trainer. Also, just in case, I'll introduce my ever-awesome team!", I said to them as I also shaked their hands. I went to a PC in the desk to grab my other two Pokemon I didn't use in the tournament to follow the 4 Pokemon limit, and went to the pink-haired trainer. I sent out my full team, and I introduced my six buddies. "This is my Charizard!", I started to point at my Pokemon one by one, and as I introduced them, they made a cry.
"This is my Ninetales!"
"This is my Torkoal!"
"This is Gardie, the shiny Gardevoir!"
"The second to the last in my team is this guy, Darude the Sandslash!"
"Last, but not the least, this is Phoenix, the Talonflame!".
I then finished introducing my team, and they were a bit impressed of that. I then recalled all my Pokemon, and stood there to have a little chat.

"Hey, great job out there," Gate congratulates Naya as he wheels to the counter to claim his prize. "You earned that victory." He recieves his 3,000 Pokédollars and pin, then watches the others talking with a somewhat dejected sigh. Glancing around from in his wheelchair, the hacker sees a couple of men in suits lurking around. He can't be sure, but one appears to be watching Max while another is fixated on Blaze Austen.

-

Cherry and Cola the Lycanroc snarl and snap aggressively at Dr. Turner and Kornelius Ozwald as a result of their injections, held back only by Gothorita's psychic chains, which are becoming visibly strained. Right on time, Wolfrick walks back into the room, carrying four cans of soda. "Cherry! Cola! Shut yer yaps!!!" he barks at his two Pokémon, quieting them almost immediately. "Here y'are!" he hollers, tossing a grape soda, cherry soda and orange soda to Gothorita, who catches them telekinetically. Wolf pops open the fourth can, a Cherry Cola, and begins guzzling it himself. After a long sip, he asks Ozwald "So they're enhanced now?"
"Yes, they are!" answers Ozwald. "You can train with them a little while if you like. When you're ready to turn in for the night, I have a suite reserved for you here in the Under."
"Awesome!" Wolfrick bellows.
"Dr. Turner, Willow, Lovrina and I will be going to stay at Realgam Tower for the night. Then in the morning, I plan to take them back to Unova with me, while you get a special mission here on Orre, Wolfrick."
"Special mission?" the ex-gang leader asks.
"You'll see," chuckles Ozwald. The magnate strides out of the room with Turner, Willow and Lovrina in tow. In the middle of the Under Colosseum, the four can see as Burnin' Boris' enhanced Magmortar burns up the remains of two bodies, a sight which Ozwald pays no mind to whatsoever.

As the trainers who participated in the tournament had a chat about rheir prizes and their plans, I managed to find a newsstand with the Orre region's newspaper, more known as the Orre Gazette. I did a quick read on the news for some vital info, and saw something that shook my mind. "Unova Steroids Plague: Pokemon illegaly enhanced?" is what it said. "Damn you Ozwald!", I almost spoke. Other than that, there are many other things in the newspaper, including Black Mareep's ethical problems in the Opinion page, the Realgam Tower Tournament's information about the players competing and other things, and Lusamine's full recovery from Nihilego poisoning. "I feel like I'm being watched because of many things I did...", I thought. Suddenly, I thought of having a picture with the others. I approached them, and I asked, "Can we have a picture?"

"Hey, thanks. Uh, by, the way, Gate, if you want a TM, go to the receptionist and tell her you got to the group A finals." I say. "She won't give you any money or items, but she'll give you a TM." I sigh. "I wanted to tell Blaze that, but he left already...hehe. Silly boy. Can you tell him that if you bump into him?"

"Oh, cool, thanks." responds Gate. "Wait...are you leaving already?"

"Indeed, I'm off with Spire." I say, grabbing Spire as we walk towards the exit of Realgam Tower.

Standing outside with the pretty night sky overhead, I can't help but smile a bit, which is a thing I don't do that often.

"Pretty night, huh? Um...what can I say, I...really like the night..." I giggle a bit awkwardly. I really like nighttime. "It'll be cool to talk to Starmie later, via that night sky, later today at S.S Libra. We'll pick you guys up later, just wait here." I take out my Pokegear, showing them a map of Orre. "Realgam Tower is right on our way. It'll probably take us like three or four hours...I'd guess. Yeah. Okay, well, later, Eden, Gate, and Ariel."

"...thank goodness it's not a long walk to Pyrite." moans Spire as she starts walking with me. The desert at night is actually quite pretty. Heh. I send out Chula to walk with me, since surprisingly, he keeps up with me pretty well despite wandering around a bit. I throw him a red patterned Poke Bean and he munches on it as we leave.

-----

Meanwhile, Plumeria is loitering outside the Aether House.

"Wow! I really did do an impressive job!" giggles Plumeria as she talks to her Salazzle, Weepinbell, Crobat, and shiny Type: Null. All the Pokemon she had on hand at the moment, since she didn't like carrying around a full team 24/7. The Weepinbell and, obviously, the Type: Null were new additions to the team. She tosses the four poison types some orange and purple patterned Poke Beans, which they seem happy enough about. Technically, she could hassle Gladion for some of the Memory discs.

"I guess I am kinda lucky, huh? No...betting on that Naya chick was a good move, and the President's dumb for assuming Blaze was superior." mumbles Plumeria to herself. "Eh...whatever. I'm just glad I'm actually getting stronger, like Guzma and those two old dudes told me I could. The fucking pre-evolution of Silvally alongside some Beast Balls to finally catch one of the rarest Poison-types there is...though, Celesteela and Xurkitree are pretty cool looking too...hmph, deciding what to add to my team is tough..."

Her Pokemon having finished their poke beans, the ex Skull admin returns the poison-types to their Ultra Balls, and the Synthetic Pokémon to its regular Poke Ball, which Lusamine had recently given her. She starts walking off towards...somewhere else.

-------

Lovrina giggles to herself as she watches Gothorita drinking her cherry Soda Pop.

"Oh, Ozwald...I so gotta make a stop somewhere. After we reach Realgam Tower, I need to make a trip. It'll take me about...five hours. Maybeee six...." Lovrina states. "Is that alright? I'll so be back on time! I just need to grab some stuff for the Shadow Pokemon project. That's definitely all I'm doing."

"I doubt a man like Ozwald here would be asleep by that time of night, anyway." Willow states with a brief grin. "Just how much alcohol have you packed?"

As I went out of the Realgam Tower and walked around under the night sky, I managed to see Naya and her buddies going somewhere. I approached them for a while and walked with them for a little chat. "So, what are you guys and gals planning?", I asked. I grabbed my stash of Berries in my bag, and munched on a Sitrus Berry. "I've got a bad feeling that something terrible is being planned...", I thought.

OOC: MegaPod, you can also handle Kate and Larry getting abducted by KO Industries. Too lazy to do it by myself.

OOC: only Naya and Spire are going to Pyrite, they'll be back in a bit. Gate, Eden and the rest are waiting at Realgam for a few hours. I'll timeskip sometime soonish. I have no real reason to write more posts taking place in Pyrite Cave. I think that place has had enough screentime for now, lol.

IC:

"Uh...me and Spire are going to get a vehicle in Pyrite, and then us, Eden, and the others are going to the S.S Libra briefly." I comment.

"Naya, don't forget to tell him he can get a TM from the receptionist if he tells her he was in the group C finals..." says Spire

"...and that. There's that, too." I say. "Why do you think we're planning something terrible, anyway? Is it just because I'm a borderline goth? Is that it?" In actuality, what I am doing would be considered terrible by some...but I won't let him know that.

"Oh, if you did manage to read my mind, my thoughts are this. I feel like something terrible is being planned behind the scenes, but it's neither me nor one of us. It just feels like... I don't know. Back in my Cipher years, Pokemon were turned into some Shadow variant of them, which is stronger and crazier. But now that enhanced Pokemon is being a threat right now, I feel like Cipher is returning and KO Industries has some bond with them....", I said as a rebuttal to what Naya said. "See ya later.", I waved them with a goodbye as I returned to the Realgam Tower to grab a TM as an extra prize. I went out of the tower, planning what to do next. "Hmm... I feel like riding the S.S. Libra for some reason..."

OOC:
I'll reveal the TM later.

Upon exiting Realgam Tower, Max opened his Pokeballs, letting Hydreigon, Greninja, Typhlosion and Sceptile out.
"Thanks, guys!" he said. "Without you guys, I couldn't have won that tournament."
As the Pokemon expressed their happiness, Max turned to Greninja.
"Wanna run outside a bit, buddy? I wanna see for myself how fast you can be."
Greninja nodded. Just as Max returned the others to their Pokeballs, he began to run alongside the Ninja Pokemon.

"Huh. Interesting nicknames...." said Eden in response to seeing Blaze's team, "Eh? Y'er leavin', Naya n' Spire? Oh, just to get a vehicle? Huh, I could'a just used my flying Pokemon, but that'll work anyway. Well then, cya later Naya! I'll be sure to look out for any assholes out for us as we wait for you!"

---

Gate was about to wheel to the receptionist, until he felt something tug his coat. It was the picnicker that fought Eden back in Group B's finale "...........I........want.......to..........talk........to.......you.......alone......"

OOC: @Murasaki Ozwald's secret operations wouldn't be all over the newspapers as no one's successfully exposed him. And I'm not sure what angle you were going for with the kidnapping, so maybe PM me and we'll try to work something out.

IC:

Gate can't help feeling uneasy at the strange girl whispering to him, and just when he had a minute with just Eden and their sibling, too. "Well...okay," he says, deciding to follow her. He barely notices the two men in suits walk out of Realgam Tower after Max and Blaze had left.

-

"That's certainly doable," Ozwald answered Lovrina. The group exited the Under to find a limousine waiting for them. "Hop in," the CEO told his guests with a gesture.

During the running, Max briefly looked back, smirking upon seeing the man in suit chase him.
Upon reacing an intersection, he turned to face Greninja.
"Double Team," he whispered. Immediately, the Pokemon created a clone that ran to the right, while Max and Greninja ran left.
Stopping to check on the man behind them, who, as they thought, turned right.
"Phew..." Max sighed, in relief. "What was that guy's deal..."
Before he could think about anything, his Xtranciever rang.
"Yes?" he said, upon picking up.
"Newmoon Island, Sinnoh?" he asked after a few moments of talking. "Understood. I'll be on my way."
