((Sorry guys my mother hogged my laptop yesterday. Also, next time, try not to make your attacks before I post all information on your enemy. Oh, and welcome, Quilava!))

Mugen's attack MISSED!
While Heinrick, in truth, is pretty inept with combat, he was frightened enough to quickly doge Mugen's attack. He forced a grin, to make it seem like he was anticipating it all along.

Autumn's attack landed CRITICAL!
"Eek!" Heinrick squeeked as he was caught by surprise from Autumn's Quick Attack. He was knocked from his feet and landed flat against the ground. "You monsters!" he yelled.

Heinrick's HP: 3

Rouge's attack landed CRITICAL!
(It can't paralyze it because of its type)

"Grr... Now it's my turn--" As soon as he was about to attack, Heinrick was hit with Rouge's force palm. He went flying straight into a nearby bush.

Heinrick's HP: 1

Ceta's attack HIT!
"No more, please!" Heinrick begged, but already he was given a finishing hit by Ceta.

Sir Heinrick was DEFEATED!

Heinrick clumsily danced around in a daze from the attacks. He muttered something illegible and dropped to the ground.

Each party member was awarded 3 points in EXP.

----------------------------------

Commander Stone laughed as the party impressively defeated Heinrick. "I've got to say, you all seem to have some spirit in ya," he said to the group. "... But of course, Heinrick doesn't usually challenge other pokemon, and for a good reason!" Just then, the front doors of a castle opened to reveal a Mr. Mime, a messenger to the king.

"Attention everyone, the king has finally arrived!" It said, and cleared the pathway for King Lizardon V to step forward. Out came a Charizard bearing a red robe, one that covered the top of his drgon-like wings. He looked down at the party and smiled.

"You are the draftees, I presume?" said the king. "... You all seem to be quite inexperienced, but do not let that be of anyone's concern, for in time, I know you all will grow to be as powerful as I." He suddenly drew attention to Heinrick, who was barely standing. "Oh dear, Heinrick, couldn't you have at least bathed yourself before this occasion? You look terrible!" said the king, unaware that he was just swiftly thrashed by the party. Heinrick let out a moan in reply and fell back onto the ground. "Anyway," the King said to the party. "Why don't you all come inside? My servants have prepared a fine meal to accommodate everyone here, then we can talk about why you all were summoned." King Lizardon walked to the dining hall, assuming everyone followed him there.

The dining hall was spacious and lavish, with walls decorated with gold and a gorgeous chandelier hanging from the ceiling. On the white-clothed table, and abundance of berries, poultry, and other things pokemon love to eat were placed on silver platters.

"Take a seat anywhere you like." said the King kindly. He took his seat in his special throne and started to eat his own platter of food.

The Party recovers HP fully from eating in this room (not like it truely matters since no one took damage from the last fight :p)

((OOC: I'm sorry for rushing. Others posted before me calling their attacks, so I decided to go along with it, hence my post had been "edited".))

After the adrenaline-rush faded from the battle, Autumn followed King Lizardon into his mighty castle. Even from the outside it looked magnificent, and Autumn gazed and gawked at every bit of it. She never grew up with many nice things - so when she walked along the elegant hallways lined with carpet and fancy decor, she gasped at it's beauty.

Once they were in the dining hall, Autumn almost hesitated climbing into her seat at the table. Both the chairs and table were made of a rare wood, and were spectacular. The chair had a big cushion on it, and was trimmed in gold. Once Autumn got over it and took her seat, she relaxed. This was definitely one of the most comfy chairs she'd ever been in. When the food came, Autumn's eyes sparkled at the rare delicacies. She took a sample of everything on her plate so she wouldn't miss out.

OOC: Sorry about that >.<

Zen had a tiny grin on his face as he followed the others into the dining hall. If all their opponents were that easy to take down, the land would be saved in no time! Of course, he completely forgot about the fact that the Pikachu seemed to have little to no battle experience...

"All of this for us?" Zen remarked as the food was brought in. He had never even seen over half of these foods before! Nevertheless, when Zen seated himself he only grabbed a few items, leaving more then enough for everyone else.

Once he saw that everyone was comfortable with their environment, the King rose up to speak.

"I am glad that everyone here feels comfortable, especially because now, this castle will all become your new home. Aside from that, let us begin our meeting." He took a moment to get out a small slip of paper to remind himself of what he needed to address, and cleared his throat.

"I am aware that all of you have read my letter, and that you all have been drafted into my special team of soldiers called Arceus' Light. While I'm aware that some of you had to abandon your current living to get here, I must assure to you all that this act is for the good of our country."

Heinrick trotted into the dining room, looking as pitiful and pathetic as ever, to await for the king's intstructions. "As you may or may not have heard," King Lizardon continued. "A legion of ghost-type pokemon has formed and are attempting to wreak havoc across my kingdom. We already know about their leader, a Gengar named Lucifer. He was a former member of the royal council, and once we passed laws to restrict the rights of ghost type pokemon, which was done only for the sake of setting limitations to their mischievous nature, he chose to defect against my laws, and organize an army to overthrow me and launch a coup d'etat on my kingdom. By Arceus, I simply cannot imagine someone with such vile intentions to be able to rule this country peacefully and fairly, which is why we have declared war against him."

The king lowered his head in shame. "... So far, this war has become even more disastrous than what it has started. The enemy has over a million in recruits, using the laws against the activities of ghost types as his tool for recruiting even more. Currently, we are fighting to maintain our control over the West Field, and recently..." He pulled out a seperate letter from a pouch around his waist. "... I have received word that the neighboring kingdom of Slowtopia, ruled by one of my most humble friends, has been threatened by the ghosts, and requested that I sent an army to defend them. This is simply too much for me to handle, which is why I have created Aceaus' Light, consisting of all of you, to help me in defending the kingdom. With that, I am giving you all your first assignment." Sir Heinrick walked towards the King's seat and pulled out a carry-on bag. "You are to the Kingdom of Slowtopia, and speak to the king there to fulfill his request. Therefore, I can continue to focus on the battle in the West Field." He turn turned to Sir Heinrick. "Sir Heinrick, if you may."

The disheveled Pikachu walked towards the party with a disgruntled look on his face.

"His majesty has instructed me to give you this inventory bag." said Heinrick. "In it contains a map of the kingdom, a few berries to start out, and 2,000 poke. To get to your destination, you'll need to travel down the route in the East Field. There, you should come across the shores of the Eastern coast. You will meet a Lapras who will take you to the underwater kingdom of Slowtopia. Be sure to flash your badges so that the Lapras and the king of Slowtopia knows you are. Good luck..." He then whispered, "If any of you gits have half a ballsack to even make it halfway!" He snickered, and placed the inventory bag on the floor for anyone to take.

----------------------
THE PARTY RECIEVED:
2 Oran Berries
1 Pecha Berry
1 Chesto Berry
2,000 Poke
Dragonia Map

All of these items have been added to the inventory.

----------------------

The King sat back down and smiled at the new team. "I wish all of you the best of luck. I apologize to some of you who feel that this was completely forced, which it is. Please keep in mind what you are fighting for, however, for the safety of this kingdom and our people now lies in your hands." With that, the king was escorted to his chambers to rest and prepare for his next move against the ghosts. Sir Heinrick turned to the party and gave a snobbish look. "Well, once you peasants have your fill, you can take off. I might even recommend you buy extra items with that money we gave you. Still, I will be frank, I don't think any of you scurvy knaves will survive!" he then chucked and followed the King out of the dining hall.

You will also have time to equip any of the items you recieve, first come first serve. "Might I remind you we just beat you in seconds?" Mugen says to Heinrick, leaving. "We can do it again. Heck, I can do it again. And scurvy naives? Really? I think you mean 'naves,' stupid." Upon arriving in town, Mugen begins to study the map. "Maybe we can hire a Staraptor to give us a ride, maybe for less than the resources to get there by walking would cost." He says. "What do you guys think? Wait, why didn't the king just give us one? Hmm...Y'know, I'm pretty sure he has some sorta agenda. Why would he hire civilians instead of sending trained soldiers? Seems pretty suspicious to me."

Upon finishing her meal and listening to the briefing, Autumn realized how serious the situation was. It was going to be a fun adventure, yes, but it will be a difficult journey. After thinking about it for a while, she noticed that the rest of the gang - now her family, in a sense - was getting their things ready for the short trip down to Moltridge. "Hold on guys, don't forget me!" Once she slung her pack over her shoulder, she gave Sir Heinrick a blank stare and moved on to catch up with the rest of the group.

---

Autumn, now with the gang, noticed the Sneasel studying the map. Curious, she ran up to him. "Hey, whatcha doin'?"

"Making myself useful." He says, smirking and looking a tad pointedly at Autumn. "Namely, I'm debating if we should fly. If we do, we get there in less time, and possibly conserve resources. If we don't, we get to fight a few baddies and take their stuff. I could care less either way."

Autumn instantly smiled back. Despite his tough appearance, she took a liking to the Sneasel. "Well, It doesn't matter too much to me either, I guess..." She looked away, towards the setting sun and to Moltridge down below them. "A little walking wouldn't hurt anyone though."

After a moment, she looked back up to the Sneasel. "By the way, I don't think we ever formally introduced ourselves, I'm Autumn." She smiled again.

"Mugen." Mugen says, irritated the slightest bit at her not realizing he was mocking her, though equally pleased to find innocence was not dead. He prods the map with a protractor out of boredom, then uses the protractor to make a simple, though given the circumstances fairly good, drawing of a boat in a lake, with wingull and a sun. (I like boats.) He thinks, smiling at the watercraft.

"Mugen... I like it." Autumn noticed that Mugen was deep in though after sketching something on the map. She looked up around Mugen's shoulder to see what he drew. "Nice. You're a pretty good drawer."

Autumn started pondering about things herself. To be specific, what kind of items they might need. "Well, if we have to take the route on foot, we should probably be prepared for anything. That means buying some general items at the store..." Autumn looked back at her pack. "Y'know, if it's alright with everyone else, I think I should be able to hold most of our items and things we need." she looked back up at Mugen.

"Um... Hi!" A Mareep slowly walks in. "I got a letter, and I was out at my... Wait. Why would YOU need to know." He sits down and ponders this, and decides that he will have to trust these Pokemon. After all, his kingly friend invited them too.
"Anyway," Volt starts slowly. "I would appreciate knowing what the status of our group is."

OOC I already read everything, but for the sake of Volt here...

OOC I already read everything, but for the sake of Spark here...

OOC: Are we going to act like you were here the whole time or are you going to be tagging along at this point? Also, it's Volt, not Spark I think. xD

Autumn looked away from Mugen to hear a Mareep catch up to the group and mumble something about a letter and we'd know about it. Smiling, she slowed her pace and came up to the Mareep. "Hey. How are you?"

OOC: Whoops! Your right! FacePaw!
I'm good. I'm assuming that we are off to slay some sort of evil thing, correct?

Autumn pondered for a moment. "Well, I guess that's the gist of it - we have to defeat this Lucifer guy I think - but right now it's just a trip Slowtopia... I've never been that far from home before." Autumn looked back, down the path towards Moltridge. Just beyond that was the path she had taken from her home. Home...

She snapped back into reality. "Yeah, that's pretty much it. What's your name? I'm Autumn."

"Oh, OK. I'm Volt." Volt stated. "Don't even try anything funny though, I can get really angry..."

"Thanks. It's actually only good because I draw the beach a lot." He says to Autumn. "Must we slay him?" Mugen says to the whole party. "Thrre's a fairly high chance he's in the right. All he's doing is protesting laws that restrict them because they were born ghost types, if possibly in the wrong way. I just think we should talk to him, see what's up."

Autumn looked back from Volt to see Mugen talking to the group again. "Well, slay him or not, it probably would be fair to hear his side of the story. But still, what if Lucifer tries to kill us? We have to keep our guard up when we meet him. But that's a long ways away..." Autumn took the moment to look at everyone in the face for a moment.

"Let's cross that bridge when we get there. And now that I have everyone's attention, I think we need to discuss what we're going to do right now. What kind of supplies are we going to need for the trip? I can hold onto most of our things in my pack I carry with me if need be."
