Contest Garchomp vs. Mamoswine

Mamoswine would win. High Attack + STAB Ice Shard = dead dragon.

I like Garchomp more, though.

I used to be called Mamoswine Gliscor here and still have that name on Bulbapedia.
 
Who's better looking? Mamoswine. I think Garchomp's ugly!

Who's more useful? iirc, Mamoswine can learn a good load of HMs.

And who would win in a battle? Mamoswine. One Avalanche and down falls Garchomp.

I chose Mamoswine!
 
Garchomp got kicked to ubers twice in a row. thats sheer badassness!! mamo is good but garchomp can even 6-0 teams on its day.
 
Garchomp looks much better and thankfully it doesn't have the Ice-type hindering its potential. Mamoswine does have a nice design as well, a big improvement over Piloswine, but that is about it.

The ice type may not be great defensively, but it's great for dealing with Dragons, particularly those like Garchomp who have a double weakness. So I think Dragon and Ice both have pros and cons to them.

I think Mamoswine is more fun to use. It's one of the few powerful Ice types available, and the fact that it can also use STAB Earthquake makes it even more useful. Garchomp may be more well rounded overall, but my vote goes to Mamoswine.
 
Uh, Mamoswine by miles. Even though it lacks a trunk, it's still a very cool mammoth and Swinub is adorable. Plus it's got a really nice typing. Garchomp, I'm no fan of, it looks terrible and I just don't like Dragon-types that much.
 
It's a big tie for me. I think they both have fantastic designs, they're both useful, and either one could win in a battle depending on how they're used.
 
I like them both. Mamoswine can Ice Shard Garchomp to fainting, but Garchomp's fast and can land a super effective fire type on Mamoswine. Design wise I like them both.
 
I'm usually not that superficial about things, bit Mamoswine easily. I don't like it as much as I like Swinub and Piloswine, but Garchomp is easily the ugliest Pokemon to grace the franchise. Everything about it is ew. Not to mention its lame shiny....

Ice is one of my favorite types as well.
 
I think Garchomp, has the worst design, it looks so ugly. I like Mamoswine better, and it automatically wins a fight with Chomp.
