Okay, I get the feeling that I REALLY need to clarify something. Just because a Pokemon is being made realistic does NOT mean that the Pokemon needs to look hideous. If you draw a cat in anime style, it looks cute, just like in real life. The same rule should apply to Pokemon. Tell me if you see the difference between these two examples:

I'm a huge fan of Leashe's work and the realistic/creepy/creative style of SoupandButter, but it looks like most of their work has been posted already, so I'll see if I can come up with some different ones.

Zeeyang does Pokemon artwork every now and then, using realistic lighting/coloring and features seen in existing animals. The designs get a little on the creative side, but that's part of what makes it great. Deviantart Gallery link:

This piece by RenePolumorfous is a great realistic depiction of the fifth-gen grass starter. I love the way it looks more like a snake with legs, as opposed to the official art that makes Snivy look like a regular lizard.

I also recommend checking out some work by kimbo-demonica. Some of it is more stylized than realistic, but quite a few look like they could be convincing animals!

Pokemon and kittens are a little different. I get what you're trying to say, but if you saw a real Mewtwo, it would look pretty screwed up. Some of those pics are a little over the top *cough*Lickitung*cough* but a majority of Pokemon would look like Eldritch abominations.

OKAY, here's the thing. I made this thread to compile images for a realistic Pokemon images YouTube video. That way YouTube would have ONE video that wasn't filled with crappy photoshop images. And I didn't get crappy Photoshop images. I got scary-A creepypasta images. Wonderful. My advice has been completely disregarded again and again. You know how many images I have found in this thread that were suitable for my video? Fourteen! I don't want to be rude, but no one seems to be listening to me when I keep telling you that these images shouldn't be creepy!

So from now on, all images that are scary or hideous are banned from this thread. :|
