Pretty badass regional bird. It’s intimidating, intelligent and good in battle. Its shiny looks pretty cool and I like how it shows its beard more clearly. Flying/steel is such a good typing altogether. Unfortunately it does make Skarmory obsolete because it outclasses it.

Very cute and I actually prefer it over Togetic, even though I found the whole fairy-like creature to big floofy bird thing a little jarring at first. It also looks very huggable too.

It is alright, but I prefer its evolved form, especially the female one.

I think it's neat. A lot of people think it's ugly, but I feel like its grungyness is part of its charm, since it looks so much like the kind of creature you might see in a medieval bestiary.

design of Latios prevents me from liking them more
as other flyers I love way more

Very interesting as it can produce Phione who's status is still highly debated to this day. It seems like a Pokémon that would be fun to be friends with and explore the sea with.

It is creepy yet beautiful, and I like its high Special Attack. Shame it has never been released with Shadow Tag.

Don't care for it. It's pretty plain, like most Johto Mons, and doesn't really have anything too interesting about it. Just another generic Water Mon and nothing more.

My favorite Fighting-type next to Breloom. I love how graceful and elegant it is, which is something you don't usually see in this type. It's quite strong in battle too, and it has an adorable pre-evo.

I think it's too much of a typical spider. It's particularly disappointing because it's prevo was fun and cute with that smiley face on its back.

I love how elegant it is, a beautiful representation of a gold fish. I wish Seaking, even though I still like it, had a similar aesthetic.

It's a very adorable cat. The Skitty line happens to be my favorite out of all the housecat-based mons. Shame that they're so weak in battle, though...

I really, really like it, for drawing direct inspiration from a cool animal, having an almost entirely non-stylised design, and possessing an interesting typing with an excellent ability to back it up. I think I'd have preferred it as Water/Poison, but still.

It's fine. Though it really tends to get the shaft compared to Heracross, especially since it only learns a grand total of one Bug move (X-Scissor). It really needs a bit more love. At least it got a fairly interesting Mega with a pretty useful ability.

It's a pretty neat bird. Kinda plain, but it's part of its charm, since it is supposed to be the first representative of the Flying-type, so it kinda does have to be as straightforward as possible. Besides, it still manages to pull off a sort of "cool" look despite its simplicity.
