Upgrade complete

You forgot to upload the "decrease size", "increase size" and the "switch editor mode" buttons for the WYSIWYG editor.

Just thought I should tell you...

It seems like a very large number of them - including the command buttons, new post indicators, and those status icons for users - have been upgraded, perhaps, to the new defaults.

Ah, yes, those. The ones that all seem to have those damn annoying white halo like things around them in most styles. Not sure how to fix those, actually. Not sure how the old versions managed to blend in while this "upgrades" ones don't either.

The old ones had sharp, well-defined borders which didn't require anti-aliasing.

Of course, the white borders wouldn't be a problem if everyone used and supported PNG with a proper alpha channel... (curse you, IE!)

But, we can go ahead and re-render them to fully transparent PNGs (we do have the source PSDs, right?) and add a little script which works around the IE-PNG problem.

Errr....these are GIF's though, not PNG's. No PSD's in with the files either.

I still have the files from some previous versions of vB though, going all the way to at least 2.3.3 (older ones might be burnt to CD somewhere, but I at least have 2.3.3. on my HDD right now). I expect that we may actually have been using images from one of those older versions.

Yes, the main page would be messed up for everyone. The hack we had to do that doesn't seem to be supported anymore. We're currently exploring our options there. There's a similar hack which we could use, but at this point in time, with final exams looming, no one has the time to install it.
