I've been struggling with editing recently so word count is fuzzy. Might have the result for it today though.

Wrote 986 words in a chapter. Felt good to get in the groove.

I did some editing and brought out the hammer to straighten up some quirks in LLV, and then I had a lot of thinking about cover art (still haven't settled on a concept).

I'm starting to write the new chapter but I might have to scrap, like, half of what I've written so far. It's turning out too shitpost-y for my taste and it's probably not the brightest idea to give Lucas something more than cameo when my protag is named Luca. This is what I get for going...

I'm done with writing part of the chapter rewrite and I think I like the new direction more, but something is still not quite right. I guess I'll have to see what shape it will take in the polishing and editing stage.

I'm rewriting a chapter set to be published around three weeks from now. This is theoretically a lot of time, but I was never a fast writer, so here's hoping I will finish and like the finished product before then.

My idea for the next chapter is still not coalescing yet but I may have regained a bit of my writing energy. I took a step back to the previous chapter and ironed out some parts that didn't feel quite right.

Finished my New Year flash fiction series! The last one wrapped up at 497 words, awfully close to the 500 words limit. Now just need to let it simmer for a bit and decide when to submit it.

Continued polishing my flash fictions today, and also slowly shifting gears to write a fifth one for the sake of completeness (I want to cover my main OCs).

The chapter grew 110 words. I am still in slow writing mode, wasn't expecting myself to get stalled by a struggle to describe Amity Square.

Okay, I did the restructuring I mentioned in an earlier post. It reduced the size but I'm happier with the chapter now, and I also did some tweaks to the conversation. It's currently 884 words long but that surely will grow after more writing later.

I wrote a 140 words character piece while looking for a workable idea for a contest in another community. It doesn't quite fit the contest's theme, so it just sits there in my word processor right now, but I sure wrote.

I didn't keep track of word count but today I added more words into the chapter I've been working on. Thinking of restructuring the chapter though.

Big same. LLV was initially pitched as a meta comedy before concept development set in and whoops the characters are troubled now? Oh no, sil is back at their bs, better make a more fitting story skeleton for this.

271 words today. I'm in more familiar waters now (no more buildings!) but the brain distraction is real. I better sleep now though. Wait what do you mean it's 2 AM and I'm not sleepy.

Only 134 words today. I spent most of my energy researching architecture styles to get the necessary vocabulary and... at the end decided to rework some descriptions to avoid mentioning the exact style used. I still do not understand architecture.

430 words today. Current thoughts include: does Hearthome's church Foreign Building have gothic architecture? It's got pointy parts, but can gothic style have domed roof?? Is this some sort of hybrid???

I did some editing actions today. It dropped the word count since I decided I don't like this one part actually. So it goes.
